The cold air blew empty.

A single figure sat by the edge, looking down to the rocks below.

Her bare sholders were numb as she waited.

It had been 2 months since the battle of Vormir.

Two months since she lost everyting.

Wanda waited.

She waited for the sound of falling rocks, so she would look down and see her love, hanging onto a rock below, grinning at her.

She waited for that soft voice to tell her everything was going to be ok.

She waited for this nightmare to be over.

She waited for the tears to come.

But they never did.

Every day she would come out here, waiting for something to change.

But it never did.

The sun rose, and fell.

The wind whistled through the branches.

The birds sung.

But she was still gone.

Sometimes she thought she heard her voice, a quiet whisper in the dusk breeze, telling her the things she longed to hear.

Sometimes she'd even turn around, searching for the Russian, but always being met with the same rocky wasteland.

Tonight, though, she did something she hadn't done in a long time.

She spoke.

" Hello my love."

The cold air swallowed her words.

" I think I'm going insane, but I don't care anymore. "

" Vision's hitting on me again, he thinks that now that you're gone he has a shot." She giggled slightly.

The light laughter stops suddenly.

" I can't go back Natty."

" I don't want to wake up if you're not there beside me."

" God it hurts." Wanda choked on her own sobs.

" I hurt."

" I hurt so much." Gutteral sobs escaped Wanda's throat.

" I'm either numb or dying, and I'm sick of both."

" They treat me like a cancer ridden puppy and I'm sick of it."

Wanda gasped for air.

" I want to tear myself to peices everytime I think about you."

After about an half hour of heartwrenching sobbs, Wanda settled for silent tears.

" Remember that day I had a panic attack during training?" Wanda smiled sadly at the void.

" You took me upstairs and we watched adventure time and cuddled." Wanda smiled at the memory.

" It seems like a lifetime ago now."

" Remember that song?"

" That song we both loved?"

" We would always sing it to each other."

" let's go in the garden"

The tune brought Wanda a heartwrenching second of peace.

" you'll see something waiting."

This was the part where Natasha usually came in, and she swore she heard it over the breeze.

" Right there where you left it, laying upsidedown."

A heart breaking duet ensued.

" When you finally find it, you'll see how it's faded."

Wanda got up from her rocky perch and made her way to the ledge.

" The bottom is lighter when you turn it around."

The cold air suddenly grew warmer, she could feel her, Wanda felt a soft hand on her sholder.

" Everything stays right were you left it."

The Russian's voice was as clear as day now.

" Everything stays."

Wanda knew now more then ever.

She couldn't go back.

" But it still changes."

Tears fell over the edge as she peered down.

" Ever so slightly."

A calm enveloped her.

" Daily and nightly."

A soft smile found it's way onto her lips.

" In little ways."

She felt it all fade away.

" When everything stays."

The warmth envolped her.

" Goodbye my love."

Wanda closed her eyes as she felt her body fly free.

The pain was finally gone.

And she wasn't alone anymore.
