there caroline stood in the prettiest red dress i had ever seen in my life and a bunch of red roses in her hand and all dolled up. "happy birthday doll" i said trying to disguise my panic as i motioned her into the house and she took a seat on the couch. "anything to drink?" i asked stuffing my hands into my pockets. "a coffee would be lovely" she smiled and i nodded walking into the pantry to get the coffee only to feel luke's lips against mine again. Only this time, I pushed him away with a scowl. "I'm going out." I said a little too harshly not looking at him. "I-daddy" his eyes were watering and he looked like a kicked puppy as i grabbed the coffee. "goodbye kitten" i said as i closed the door.
