it didn't take long for us to arrive at the petshop and i pulled the beanie over luke's ears as we walked in. "hello, how may i help you?" she smiled as luke scampered away from the petshop's resident border collie yapped loudly at him. "daddy" he whimpered softly before his eyes caught on a pink collar with a pink bow and princess charm. "daddy that one" he murmured and i nodded. "how much for the pink one?" i asked the lady. "$32.75" she said and my eyes widened. i was about to decline before luke looked at me with those big blue puppy dog eyes - fuck my life. i sighed and looked at her "we'll take that one thank you"
