A grand rescue ended up successful with rebecca being saved along with the ashen one exterminating most of, if not all of the members of maxtac and the current khaos brigade.
Two technological giants stand before each other then run towards eachother and started to clash fists. Meanwhile, the O.R.C gathered together with the ashen one and edgerunners.
"We have to go back! We lost him last time he duelled with smasher, i don't want a repeat of that again" Rebecca said wanting to help him
"As much as i hate this, we must honor his wishes and let him fight him alone" Rias said
"To hell with that, i'm going to help him!" Issei entered balance breaker and flew back to the base
"Issei no!" Rias called out but he was already gone
"Yare yare, you younglings sure are itching to fight huh" a feminine voice said
The group turned to see isabelle and doomguy "what exactly stops you from helping him"
"Its to honor his wishes and not get in his way" kiba said
"You are not soldiers, you are devils, so do you what you do best and rebel" doomguy says
The duel between legends continued as smasher wasn't slowing down but [y/n] again started to become winded
"Still haven't upgraded those lungs gave you, you just expect to win every fight with relative ease. Pathetic that without a roadblock, you'll never reach the expectation of being strong enough." Smasher said as he fired a few aoe rockets exploding on impact of the floor around [y/n]
With the usage of the sandevistan, he managed to avoid almost all of them...almost that is...two of the rockets managed to make contact with [y/n]
Due to the fact that the armor he wore was a replica, it was breaking apart until shattering to pieces and falling on the group.
"Well shit there goes 2 months of building" [y/n] sighed and put his regular gorilla arms up to fight
"Its best you give up, you'll lose just like last time and there is no one to help you" smasher fired a blast only for [y/n] to dodge and counter with an uppercut
"That may be true but at least they are safe from you and they're strong enough to take you on" [y/n] said while his nose started bleeding
The fight continued on with clashing fists and counters being swung around. [Y/n] was reaching his limit from the amount times he used the sandevistan. He would eventually collapse on the floor and fall on his back.
Adam smasher on the other hand looked perfectly stable and walked over to him "it seems that my words have become a reality, this is the end for you" he said preparing to stomp on his head
"Its over my boy, this is the end of your journey" smasher proceeded to drop his foot
It was surely the end for [y/n] "i'm sorry everyone...i let you down" he muttered closing his eyes
A loud clank was heard, two tough steels clashing like swords, [y/n] opened his eyes to see a red clad of armor above stopping smasher's foot from crushing his head
