The line of the call was silent. Can She ask him to keep talking so that it would feel less scary.

"How much time it would take?" She asked. She was hesitant that this man will burst out any moment.

"3 more minutes." She heard him saying and those three minutes felt like 3 hours but finally she got a glimpse of a car coming in her direction through the mirror.

Aayansh stopped his car right beside Aadhya's and hurriedly stepped out of the car. Aadhya finally sighed In relief after getting a glimpse of him and unlocking the door, stepped out of the car..

"Are you alright?" Aayansh asked, seeing her stepping out of the car earning a nod from her but still, he could see how pale she looked.

"It's alright. Let's go home now." he opened the car door and closed it after she sat inside. Rounding off to the other side, Aayansh sat on the driver's seat.

He picked up the water bottle and handed it to her. He could see her hands and legs shaking a bit. Aadhya glanced at the bottle and then at him and now, when she was getting a clear view of his face, he looked pissed off.

"I'm sorry for disturbing you in between your work." Aadhya mumbled taking the bottle from him. He didn't say anything as she chugged some water and finally calmed down a bit.

Aayansh started the engine of the car and she looked at him again after a few minutes and saw him clenching his jaw and tightening his grip around the steering wheel.

Only if Shivam could have picked up my phone and there wouldn't have been any need of disturbing him.

Nevertheless, both of them reached the mansion. Parking the car in the Garage, he stepped out of the car, slamming the door behind him which surely made her flinch. Aadhya too came out and walked to the other side and saw him rubbing his temples.

"Thank y- the last word stucked in her throat when Aayansh pulled her back her arm and pinned her to the car.

"What the hell." She exclaimed not too loudly but clearly surprised.

"Can you be fucking responsible for once!!" He growled, gritting his teeth which surely sent shivers down her spine.

"How I'm irresponsible if my car broke. That's a machine and I can't control it." She said, looking at him in disbelief. She was annoyed by how he was reacting currently.

"First of all, is this the time to come back home and that too all alone, I don't understand why don't you have bodyguards or driver with you. Are you that dumb not to understand that you should have security around you."

This wasn't the first time she was hearing this. Her brother and father have always asked her to have bodyguards with her but she have always dodged that.

I'm fucking hungry and this man is busy lecturing me about having security around me.

She stared at him and after a few moments, realized how close he was standing by trapping her between the car and himself. Gulping down, she closed her eyes and licked her lips before looking back at him.

"I'm sorry. If I would have known that you'd be this angry after helping me out, I would have never asked you. I'm sorry for ruining your precious time."

Pushing him a little, she attempted to walk away when Aayansh held her shoulders and pushed her back to the car and took a step towards her.

He was literally pressing her between the car and himself. Aadhya's breath hitched when he dipped his face close to her, so close that his breath was fanning on her face.
