AN: Yeah so this isn't an actual chapter. Sorry about that. First, it's been awhile so this is to make sure people don't think this story is totally dead though Iwouldn't blame them if they thought so. Second, a lot has happened to me so I'm making a few adjustments that most probably won't care about but I'm pointing them out just in case.
Being on this long of a break, I'm fine with doing only a few more then hopping into the other react fic so I can wrap that up and move on to season 2 like many have been begging.

Daddy(s) Issues
A long rest to hard-reset their brains later, everyone was relaxing in the lounge once more. Rolan then appeared to see what they were up to. That's when he noticed Asterius encircled by the kids along with the storybook lovers: Bell, Haruhime, Tiona and Ardee. Ais was also there fighting with Tiona over Bell as per usual.
Rolan: *Looking at them* And what are they doing?
Finn: Oh, Bell said he and the others looked around and found a book about me apparently. As flattering as that sounds, my thumb has been disagreeing with me as it's been throbbing a bit since they started.
Riveria: *Shaking her head* They also had to draw lots since they couldn't decide who would get to read. In the end, the minotaur won the privilege despite not being able to read that well.
Loki: Or hold the book for that matter! They're lucky one of rabbit boy's girls lent him her glasses so he could read. Supposedly they were enchanted to allow the wearer to read whatever they looked at.
Rolan: Hm.
The god walked over to the reading group and overheard the bull as he read to the group of children.
Asterius: Miss Watson, she kept pecking at me, and it got tiresome and lonesome. By-and-by, they fetched the ni-

They all stopped and turned to him and nodded brightly.
Bell: Yeah. By the way, sorry for taking the book before asking you. We got really curious and couldn't help ourselves.
He and the other blushed sheepishly but Rolan said he didn't mind in the slightest.
Rolan: And you picked that one because...
Tiona: I thought it would be about the Captain but it's just not adding up right even if its about another world like we've been seeing.
Rolan: Well, I'm sorry to be the one to disappoint you, but Huckleberry Finn doesn't actually have to do with the Finn you all know.
They groaned in disappointment but Bell encouraged them that they could still find a way to enjoy it. So, Rolan left them to their literature and Asterius continued where he left off.

While that happened, Rolan observed Albert grumbling next to Aria. The two watched Ais and Tiona lightly quarrel over who gets to sit next to Bell in the reading circle.
Aria: You have to grow out of this eventually, dear. Our girl is growing up.
Albert: Doesn't mean I have to feel good about it.
Silver: Well, you could be happy she's getting a good man. I'm sure most women would wish they could be as lucky as her.
Albert: Lucky to have to share their partner?!
Silver: *Shrugs* It could be worse. They could've ended up in a battle to the death over who gets to keep him.
Albert: Hmph! Maybe for some but I'm more than happy with my single-woman relationship status. I only wish my daughter could've been the same.
Rolan: Oh, you really don't want to go down that road.
Albert: Why is that?
Aria: What's wrong? I'm quite content having Albert all to myself.
Rolan: And what if I told you there was at least once scenario where he didn't settle with just you?
Aria: *Crack*
Those in their table could swear they heard something break only to look and see Aria's glass shattered as she clenched her fist and soaked her hand in her drink. Her face still had her sincere smile, but the aura she gave off made for an unsettling atmosphere. That and her smile felt misplaced as well.
Albert: Excuse me?! I wouldn't dare do that!!
While he said that to save face, he was also growing more afraid of his wife.
Rolan: Interesting. Let's ask those two what they think.
Albert: Those two?
Rolan snapped his fingers and a portal opened where to women came out.
