"Sally!" I greet
the familiar face of
the waitress behind
the counter and look
around the shop.
I spy you, a lovely looking
girl sitting in the corner
with a laughable
expression on your face
and a flower tucked
behind your ear.
I stand at the corner
of the booth,
wary of forks,
and grin.
"You seem like an
interesting person.
Mind if I
join you?"
