"I'll get us out of this place." When he spoke it was in the softest tone. "Really daddy?" He nodded as he took a short breath and gave the mask to her again. "Of course my little cover girl." He smiled at her and your fists started to ball up. "I'll give you the world." You couldn't stay silent anymore. "You liar!" They didn't seem to hear you. "I don't need the world, I just need you." Again he only took a short breath from the mask before giving it back to her. "No, why are you believing him? You know better now!" He started to rock back and forth with her, it was late. "I love you, cover girl." Your nose twitches uncontrollably as you take a challenging step forward. "You love her unquestionable love! Her innocence! Her compliance!" "I love you to daddy."
You felt betrayed as soon as she said the words. You also couldn't help but feel pity for her as you crept closer letting your hand brush her face. "You deserve much better than him." You kelt down, completely ignoring the man as you tried looking into her eyes. "And you have it, the Sullys are your family now. You have a family." She finally looked at you, she looked different, more like she had just been taken out of a dream. "We have a family?" You were taken back by the, we but quickly flashed a smile, they were your family. "Yes." She smiled at you and he was gone, it was just the two of you smiling and now holding each other in peace.
Opening your eyes you saw a flicker from the tree, your brows furrowed and then the tree started flashing rapidly. Alarmed, you took your Queue away from the tree, you looked to Neteyam who was looking to Kiri before he took his Queue from the tree as well. You saw Kiri flailing under the water and immediately your stomach dropped. Tsireya disconnected Kiri from the tree, and Neteyam grabbed her and helped bring her up to the surface. Rotxo and Tsireya helped too, giving you no room to help. You could only watch with dread and follow. Kiri's spots had been flashing too but when they stayed off you could feel your heart about to drop when you surfaced. "Come on!" Everyone was frantic as you called for an Ilu to come close to Neteyam. "Kiri!" As it turns to give room for Neteyam to push Kiri up first you find your spot next to Tsireya. "Kiri!" Tuk had now appeared and could be heard behind you. You wanted to comfort Tuk but just couldn't leave Kiri. "Kiri, come on." You pleaded with her hoping she could maybe hear you. "What is wrong, what is it?" Poor Tuk, she struggled to get close. "It was a seizure." You gasped in panic, was she going to be okay? You didn't even know Na'vi could have seizures.
"Is she breathing?" Hearing Roxto ask that scared you more as Neteyam started to perform CPR. You almost couldn't keep yourself afloat, seeing Kiri so limp was starting to bring tears to your eyes. "Is she breathing?" You moved to hold her hand, "Kiri, please breathe." As Neteyam gave another breath you could hear Kiri take in air. You felt relieved, giving her hand one last squeeze before looking up to Neteyam your eyes brimming with tears you hadn't noticed. "Get her to the village." Neteyam Pulls Kiri's body up and closer to him, getting her in a secure position. "Let's go!" You moved to your Ilu who was just now surfacing. "Let's move!" Just like that Neteyam was off, Your Ilu was closest to Tuk so you took her. "Come Tuk." She wrapped her arms around you whimpering. "It's okay Tuk, hold tight." You left just as fast as Neteyam, holding Tuk's arms in one of your hands.
It took eight hours. Eight hours for a transport helicopter to arrive. You had been by Kiri's side with Neytiri and Tuk. You had started to shake from suspense, you had imagined Kiri opening her eyes and smiling in amazement for hours. Anything to stop from her body looking so lifeless, you had checked her pulse multiple times. You had checked if she was still breathing just when you heard the loud noise, finally. "I'll see if they need my help with anything." You hadn't let a single tear drop but they had been threatening to fall constantly. "Take Lo'ak with you then." Lo'ak had been nervously standing off to the side the entire time, not knowing what to do with himself. You were somewhat in the same position. "Okay," You turned to Lo'ak and started walking out of the Marui. "Come on Lo'ak." He didn't say anything, he just followed.
