"How the hell did i ended up
with this dairy, daebak!!",
Chaewol gasped, eyes fixated on the old dusty dairy sitting underneath huge piles of old paperworks.
A few pages and Polaroids casually peeking out of it.

she didn't anticipate,
finding such a thing here.

Staying at her grandparents house
for the weekends did seemed a boring idea, afterall.

"Guess, being home grounded
paid off" she smiled to herself.
Dusting of the concerning layer of dust off the said dairy, she scanned her newfound curiousity.

Moon Myeongae, it read.

One shouldn't read one's dairy they say, it upsets the owner but was chaewol the type to care?!
Hell no.

Upon finding a comfortable spot on her bed, she carefully opened the first page.
A sight of slightly yellowish page greeted her.. worn out by time, it appeared to be fragile and beautiful.

She studied the details thoroughly,
taking in the pitch black cover with the owners name neatly carved out at the very bottom, a few torn pages, dried petals and a photo strip pushing it's way through, trying to get her attention.

But what caught her attention wasn't the photos but a name.
She momentarily froze on the sight of that name..

A name she has heard of.
A name she knows by heart.

Lee Minho....

"We were the parallel lines,
Close but never together;
Like the rail tracks,
Forever side by side,
Yet we never crossed each other...."

-Excerpt from the diary of,
Moon Myeongae,
November 15th, 2000

"Okay, that was some good poetry right there!"

The time worn diary did managed to pull strings of interest in chaewol's mind.
It seemed intriguing to her.
As if it was a portal back in time,
a time when she didn't even existed.
And that seemed like the perfect escape for her.

"What do i do god, this antic thing right here is begging me to be read", being the extra dramatic lee chaewol that she is, she sighed (ofc dramatically) before, turning to the next page.

" Just one page, i swear"
