Description: Bailey is in desperate need of help getting back to her home and finding her lost family and friends, but from barely recovering from her coma for two months, she struggles. She also discovers a new world with nightmares all around her.

---------Let's take it back a little-------

Bryan's P.O.V.

I ran the fastest I've ever did in my life. My heart racing and my blood pumping to the max. The car stopped immediately and the person got out of the car and rushed over to Bailey's helpless body.

"Bailey! Oh, Bailey please don't be gone, c'mon Baby!" I say as I held her head and her upper body in my arms. Blood was rushing from her mouth and nose and her head was bloody and her face look so lifeless. I immediately took my two fingers and placed it on her neck...

Thank god there's a pulse.

"Oh god, I'm SO sorry, please I didn't see her run in the street, she's so fast, I'll do anything, I'm SO sorry." The man that hit her pleaded. I couldn't help but punch him right in the nose and was about to go ballistic until Bobby pulled me back.

"No! That won't make anything better!" Ayanna cried out, her face covered in tears and eyes filled with horror. "Oh, god." She put her hands on Bailey's shoulders shaking her saying "Wake up, wake up!"

If only if it wasn't that simple. I could hear the roar of the ambulances already nearing the area. Thank god for Eastbridge's quick emergency services. A Van stopped right behind the car who hit Bailey and the paramedics rushed out the back with the bed. "Move back!" They warned us as they lifted her on.

"Will she be okay?!" Ayanna shouts clutching to my arm.

"Little girl, just stand back and we'll take care of this." One of the paramedics says as he rushed back to the driver's. I ran to the back of the ambulance to go along but one of the men stopped me.

"Family only." He says sternly.

"I'm her boyfriend, good enough?" I say with a harsh tone. He removed his arm and let me on but before he could close the doors I have a message for Ayanna.
"Ayanna, call your parents and tell them to get to the hospital NOW." I yelled.

"Ok!" She shouts back and right then the man closes the doors quick and signals the driver to keep going. I sat down near the back as the nurse and the paramedic examine and do their best to make sure Bailey's gonna be okay.

Oh dear god, I hope she's okay...

---------2 Weeks Later-------

A dull day with clouds filling the sky. I wake up stretching my arms. I look to my clock on the end table noticing what time it is.

10:30... SHIT! I'm suppose to be at the hospital at 11:00! It takes a good hour to get there. Fuck fuck fuck! I quickly raced to put my blues jeans on and threw on a grey T-Shirt grabbed my leather jacket and raced out the door. I got on my motorcycle and raced through the streets of Eastbridge. Bailey has been in a coma for 2 weeks now and I've been visiting her every day of the week. Her family didn't take it well at first but knowing she is somewhat okay, calmed them down a bit. Bailey's parents are always there and it's honestly brought us all closer.

During the midst of all of this, the thing about that virus, is really happening. There are videos ALL over the internet of the living dead roaming the streets, killing and tearing people limb by limb. The whole entire southeast is blocked off from Alabama to just North Carolina. It's too late for the rest of the country. It's like this thing had been here all this time without us knowing, just invading the country.

The security is super tight. Checking people at every building. It's uncomfortable, but can you blame them?

I arrived at the hospital and it's about 11:51, so just 9 minutes to spare. I hopped off quickly and rush to the doors of the hospital. I got to the security stop and scanned my system checking for any signs of infection. You'd be surprised how many people don't know they have it and they look perfectly fine.
