Teenagers stormed in and out of Brainstorm High School, a certain teen dancer was dragging the attention of half the school during recess break.

Dina was known for being popular right when she was 5 years old for her dancing skills, she has featured on different programs and shows and had gain popularity among her pairs.

Dina's mum became senator the previous year boosting her dance career and popularity though every success Dina had, she was responsible for it. She was known for her hard-work and it paved her way to success.

Dina was having her final practice for dance club for the day, a lot of students turned up for the practice, it was just practice yet Dina had half the school showing up for her. Her bestfriend, Mila has been her right hand ever since they were kids, Mila was also soccer captain of Brainstorm high school.

"I could watch Dina dance all day, every day, as a non-paying life job," a random girl hollered.

"I don't know if I wanna marry or be her," another random dude concurred.

"You guys know this is just practice, right?" Mila chuckled and came on sight approaching Dina.

"I think they do, baby," Dina walked over to Mila, pecked her on the cheek, and collected the bottle of water and towel Mila was holding for her.

"You guys are so cute," Dan walked up to the two girls from behind earning a death glare from the both of them.

"Shut up, Daniel," the two echoed together simultaneously.

"Soulmates, I tell you," Daniel grinned. Mila and Dina rolled their eyes and continued their little conversation.

"Any plans?" Mila asked while waiting for her best-friend to pack up.

"Netflix and chilling with you can be a plan, right?" Dina raised a brow.

"Well, anything for you, my hot-headed best friend," Mila shrugged and started walking away. Dina hesitated a bit before jogging to catch up with her.

"You think my head is hot?" Dina nudged Mila.

"Shut up," Mila shook her head in disbelief. The two girls walked out of the dance auditorium together, chit, chatting, giggling, and enjoying each other's company.

Mila took Dina to the soccer girls' locker room for Dina to take a shower. Dina had access to it, considering Mila was the soccer captain for the female team.

"Rate my practice, 1-10," Dina told Mila while drying off her hair. Mila, leaning by a wall, gently stroked her chin, thinking of a number.

"I hate when you do that. It makes me nervous," Dina complained.Mila smiled, dropped her hand from her chin, took a few steps to get closer to Dina, and gently stroked her cheek.

"I am sorry. I promise I won't do that again, okay?" Mila assured her.

"Thank you," Dina softly replied. Mila pulled her into a gentle hug, and the two stayed in that position for a few; Mila's physique and height made Dina look tiny, which Mila secretly enjoyed whenever they hugged or cuddled.

The two proceeded to Dina's house; Mila had permission from her parents to sleep over at Dina's place since it was a weekend.

"By the way, You did great at practice today, strong 9.5/10," Mila said to Dina, who smiled in victory as if she had won a lottery. Mila was the only person she allowed to judge her performance which she knew would tell her the truth no matter what.

The two were sitting on the couch in the living room, watching a show.

"Well, Miss Mila Campbell, you are my inspiration," Dina admitted.

"Oh really?" Mila smirked.

"Yes, yes, yes, I cannot do anything right without you by my side," Dina sighed.

"Now, come here," Mila gestured to Dina to scoot closer to her.

"You are perfect even without me. I am here to support and encourage you because you are my best friend, and I will always want the best for you; your win is my win," Mila stated.

Dina stared at her best friend in pure admiration, care, and something more she was too scared to admit.

"What? Is there something on my face?" Mila asked, noticing the intense stare.

"Nope, you are perfect," Dina smiled and returned her attention to the TV while still resting on Mila's chest, leaving Mila in confusion.

Mila noticed Dina was asleep, gently lifted her up, and took her upstairs. Laying her gently on the bed, she put the covers over her to prevent her from getting cold; she pecked her on the forehead, got up and took one last look at her, sighed, and exited the room.

Mila went downstairs back to the living room; she bumped into Mrs. Kuhn, who gave her a knowing look; Mila nodded as she exited the Kuhn's mansion.

The clouds rumbled, lightning illuminated the streets, the wind sang songs of its own, and a storm was coming.

Mila looked up to the sky, and a smile of relief appeared on her face. She checked her watch as the hands of the clock struck 12 midnight, and she breathed heavily.

"Heaven has gained an angel," she whispered softly. Then, a massive thunderbolt struck right where she was standing, and she disappeared into thin air.

The following day, in another mansion, a couple was seated in the dining room, sipping coffee silently while listening to the news.

"Daughter of Senator Kuhn, Dina Kuhn, happened to have passed away by an unnamed illness last night. The United States news agency sends their deepest condolences to Senator Kuhn," the reporter announced.  Then, the TV got turned off.

"You should be happy. You did a great job," the man at the diner said.

"I know, I know, I'm happy," Mila said, joining them for dinner.

"I know that look," the woman looked at Mila.

"What went wrong, Hades?" she asked.Mila now revealed as Hades sighed and looked between the two people who were her loving parents waiting for her to say what she was hiding.

"I love her."
