Third person Pov
Neteyam charge at Colonel with a knife but he quickly dodge him and he ended up bumping into his brother Lo'ak
He growled and look madly at Colonel who was smirking, he took Keira and Lo'ak's rope off and the three of them tried to kill one of Colonel's robots but they couldn't they were too weak
Colonel grabbed the three of them and threw them into the water
"Turn the boat on" He said and the other Avatars nodded
The boat left and Neteyam was trying to catch them
"Neteyam, stop it's too dangerous!" Lo'ak said
"No I gotta go back Y/n is there!"
"Neteyam she's gone!"
The word 'she's gone' echoed to Neteyam's head, he killed her... But he didn't mean to
"Neteyam!" Jake jumped over him and they landed at the water causing Neteyam to get back to his senses
Neteyam crash himself at the floor of the boat, he was crying while looking at the ship which was leaving
Keira held him and comforted him, Jake understood what his son feels bit choose to ignore it for a while as he continues to drive away
"Where's Y/n?" Neytiri ran towards them followed by Tuk and the rest
Jake looks away, sad was written all over his face, Lo'ak helped Neteyam put of the boat followed by Keira
Neteyam was sobbing he couldn't handle the pain he was feeling and drop himself on the sand
Neytiri understood immediately and her eyes starts to sob too
"Come on, we need to rest" Jake said and he walks away
Few months later
"Here you go Neteyam, eat some" Aunong handed him some food but he didn't even look at it
Neteyam kept watching the sea, hoping that there will be a ship that appears he blames himself for killing Y/n he blames everything himself that everything happened to her
"It wasn't your fault Neteyam" Aunong sat next to him
"Y/n had a good heart I saw that"
"Even if she's dead she lives inside you now" he seriously said
Neteyam didn't spoke he just looked down, this past few months this kept going and going he would do what he was ask to do and if there's no orders he would sit at a rock with a view of the sea where he can see everything
"Have some protein Neteyam" Aunong stands up and patted his shoulder before putting some food beside him and then left.
