Chapter 2 in trouble

Chase woke up to Ryder calling them through pup tag. "PAW Patrol, to the lookout." "Ryder needs us!" Chase exclaimed.

he got out of his pup house right as Skye walked by. "Hey, Chase," Skye said, looking at him. "Hey, Skye," Chase said, wagging his tail.

 "You seem pretty happy, Chase," Skye said, giggling. Chase just smiled and then he and Skye locked eyes with each other.

10 seconds later Marshall interrupted. "uhh, why are you two locked eyes?" he asked, Chase and Skye, but they did not

answer him. "HELLO!!" Marshall yelled even louder, and that snapped them out of their trance. "Why are you yelling Marshall?"

Chase asked. "because u too locked eyes." Marshall said. "What we did do?" Skye asked, starting to blush. "yep." Marshall answered.

"what do you mean we locked eyes?" Chase asked, starting to blush as well. "I called your names like 5 times, then u finally

answered," Marshall said. "MARSHALL, CHASE, SKYE? WHERE ARE YOU?" Ryder yelled through pup tag. "Coming Ryder, Sir."

Chase said, he looked at them, they were a little scared, but they knew if they waited for another second they would be in trouble.

when they got to the top, the others were already there, they looked at Chase and the others, then Ryder started speaking.

"What took so long?" Ryder asked. Marshall was going to tell Ryder that he made them stop, but Chase stepped in and said,

"Ryder, Sir, it was my fault, I had started to talk to Marshall for a second and got sidetracked, I'm sorry Ryder, Sir," Chase said

as he put his head down in shame. "Chase, you know better than to do that. anyways I called you on the lookout because

the mayor wanted to throw a party and has invited us to it. but since you took so long, you're going to stay on the lookout,

in your pup's house. do I make myself clear?" Ryder asked, with some anger in his voice, the others didn't hear the anger, but

Chase did. Chase looked down and sighed. "Ok Ryder, Sir, I'm sorry, I should have listened to you, I'm sorry," Chase said as he went

to the elevator and left, the others felt bad for Chase, but Skye felt more sorry for Chase than the others did. so she asked Ryder,

"Ryder, can I stay here, I don't want to go, I'm really tired." Skye lied. Ryder looked at Skye and said "Ok, as long as you stay away

from Chase while we're gone, he needs to know that if he doesn't come when I call, he will be punished. if u go to Chase while

we're gone, I'll punish u too. clear?" Ryder asked. "clear." Skye said, sadly. 1 hour passed and the pups left. except for Skye and Chase.

Chase was in his pup's house thinking about what he did. "I should have listened to Ryder, then I would have been able to go."

Skye heard what he said and walked to Chase. "Chase, why did u take the blame?" Skye asked Chase "I don't know, I didn't

want Marshall to get in trouble, so I took the blame. but didn't Ryder say to stay away from me or you will get in trouble?"

"I know Chase, but I don't want to leave you alone by yourself," Skye said smiling. "Please go Skye I don't want you to get

in trouble." Chase tried making Skye leave. suddenly a voice shouted and Skye knew the voice from anywhere. "Skye, why are

you with Chase? didn't I tell you not to go to him?!" Ryder shouted. "Ryder, what are you doing back so soon?" Skye asked,
