Hey everyone. It feels so weird to be adding a chapter to this book since it's been about 4 years now since it was initially completed.
I reread this book often and each time, I seem to dislike it more than the previous.
I had written an authors note about 2 years ago stating that I wouldn't be changing the book because I wanted to keep it in its original state, but I changed my mind.
After my most recent reread, I have realized one thing:
I honestly kinda hate this book...
From cover to cover, there are so many things that I, as an author now, resent about my previous writing style and pacing choices.
All this is just to say that I plan on editing this book heavily. As such, for the time being, the sequel will be temporarily on hold because changes I make here will need to be reflected there.
It shouldn't take me too long to fix, but I encourage any long time fans or any previous readers to give this book another chance once I've effectively scrubbed and cleaned it all.
