So, in this universe, food is alive.
There are 5 main kingdoms. Dairy, Grain, Fruits and Vegetables, Meat and lastly, Dessert.
The queen of Dairy Kingdom is Matilda Milk. The king of the Grain Kingdom is Sir Baker Baguette III. The king and queen of the F & V Kingdom are King Cal Carrot and Queen Grape Viney. The king of the Meat Kingdom is King Silur Steak. Lastly, the queen of the Dessert Kingdom is Madam Ice Cream. Or at least that's how it used to be before the tyrant Black Licorice took over.
Black Licorice's family has been working as maids at the Dessert Castle for generations. Black Licorice wanted to avenge his family by raising up in power. Black Licorice became Madam Ice Cream's most trusted advisor. He helped her make all her important decisions. One day, he poisoned Madam Ice Cream, and she died. With no one to be an heir, Black Licorice rose to power (fun fact: he killed her the day she was going to announce to the kingdom that she was pregnant). He has been trying to take over the different kingdoms.
Prince Benjamin Baguette has been trained by his father his whole life to be a proper prince. Much to Sir Baker's disappointment, Benjamin is not good at many princely things like fighting and sports. He prefers to keep to himself and spend his time studying. It doesn't make sense to Benjamin that instead of being praised for being booksmart, he's considered "disappointmenting the kingdom" for not being good at royal duties. He's been chasing his dad's approval his whole life, but it eludes him each time.
Sir Baker does not actually hate his son but is scared that he is too weak to take the throne and lead the kingdom. Sir Baker Baguette hears the things the kingdom says about his son and is scared of Benjamin not gaining the approval of the kingdom, so he overwhelms his son with lessons to improve. He also keeps his distance from his son because he's scared that if he's very close to his son, then Prince Benjamin will stop trying as hard in his lessons. He's not trying to be cold to the young prince.
In an etempt to prove to the kingdom (and himself) that Benjamin is a good prince and can handle taking the throne, Sir Baker Baguette III sends Prince Benjamin Baguette to go with the warriors to the Dessert Kingdom. They are going to try defeat Black Licorice. Somehow, Benjamin gets lost and ends up Black Licorice's castle.
Black Licorice has a secret daughter that is Benjamin's age. Ivory Licorice is not mean. Benjamin meats Ivory in the castle, and they fall in love. Black Licorice knew he'd need an heir to keep the royal bloodline going, so he secretly mated with a marshmallow (Don't ask). Ivory is white because of her Marshmello mom, but her dad hates it because she doesn't look like him. Also, there is some childhood trauma because she looks like Black Licorice's mom, and he didn't have a good relationship with her, but Ivory doesn't know about that. Her dad's hatred towards her is part of the reason Ivory isolates herself so much. She knows Balck Licorice is cruel but doesn't want to go into a world where she would not be accepted.
While lost in the castle, Benjamin finds Ivory, and she helps his cause. They become really close, and Benjamin teaches her that her dad's actions are not her burden to carry.
Drinks such as juice and pop do exist, but they live on islands. The reason why the dairy kingdom doesn't live on an island is because there was a war, and they got kicked out. The other drinks didn't like that dairy products could also be solid (cheese, butter, etc.). And insited that dairy isn't a real liquid.
The dessert army is cookies. They infiltrated the Dairy Kigdom first because they're weakest. Benjamin's mom left the Grain Kingdom to go help Matilda Milk rebuild her kingdom after the loss of her husband.
I've fallen in love with this all over again, and I'm in the process of making a map, inventing wars, religions, and whatnot. I'm establishing details that I didn't have before, and I'm so excited.
Ok, so the name of the like land and planet-thing they like on is Falforth. I have the map pretty much done, so I might post it on this chapter soon. Although, I just kind of invented the names for everything randomly, and im kind of regretting not giving them symbolism, so I might go back. Idk 🤷♀️. I just wanted to share some fun facts about this mystical land I that I made up and I'm very proud of.
- The grass is white and changes colors when you step on it based on your emotions
- There are floating islands
- There's this one random pond thing in the mountains that holds magical properties
- There are some bear-like creatures that have plants (mushrooms, flowers, etc) growing on their head and live in the soil. They can sense emotions. They're nice to humans and might give them something they've grown on their head if they can sense that they're sad. They eat mostly berries.
- I didn't make this one up myself, but basically storms with flashes of lights and screaming. Idk what im going to call them.

De TodoSo this is going to be very random. It's just going to be a bunch of strange thoughts I've had and made up backstories for. The updates won't have a schedule. You can ignore the story cover, I'll probably just change it when I'm bored.
