I want to have you all to myself
Like a strawberry candy
I want you to wake me up everyday
Like the rays of the morning sun
From the first day I saw you
I knew my heart will have to fight
Fight, so as to not be lost
In the oasis of your beautiful soul
And if a day ever equals a thousand
It is the day we held hands as you laughed at my jokes
And if I've ever been embarrassed,
It was the day you caught me staring at your legs
You are my favorite place
A place where my worries are non-existent
I would have loved to just stare
At your glassy eyes all day
But that would worsen my lovesickness
So like a masterpiece
Which is meant to be admired and not handled
I will stay admiring from a distance.
