Morning came and I found Kuro already awake pawing at my face. The rest were still sleeping as usual. Draco was sleeping on his side, Blaise was sleeping on his back, and Theo was sleeping on his stomach. I got into the bathroom brushing my teeth, before going into the shower. I finished before leaving the shower. Looking in the mirror.

My scars were still there. Sometimes I'm terrified that my time at Hogwarts has just been a dream, and when I wake up I'll find myself back at the Port Mafia. I shake my head before putting on the choker Blaise gave me last Christmas, before putting on my uniform. I put on my white gloves and the chain from my PM uniform.

"Draco, come on. Wake up", I said shaking him. Draco told us yesterday that he got on the Quidditch team and invited us to watch him practice in the morning.

"Wake up! You're going to be late for practice!", I say pulling him up by his shoulders.

"Huh?", Draco says half asleep. Kuro jumped up onto the bed mewing as well.

"You're going to be late!", I yell. That woke them all up. Draco snapped awake.

"Huh! Crap!", Draco says running to the bathroom.

Blaise woke up and started to laugh at the blonde. Theo was just reading waiting for the bathroom to open. Draco ran out and Theo told us to go ahead of them. Draco didn't need anymore more words before dragging me down the stairs.

Draco quickly grabbed his bag and put on his equipment as he was jogging to the Great Hall. Draco finished putting on his equipment and we met up with the rest of the team in the Great Hall.

"There you are!", Marcus Flint says. He looked at me after a moment. "Who's this?".

"Oh, this is my friend Kaiyo Kurayami. You said I could invite people to practice", Draco says.

"Kurayami? Aren't you the second year that the top of his class", one of the members say

"Yes, that's me", I say with a nervous tone. I wasn't expecting him to ask that.

"Come on. Let's get going we're wasting time", Flint says. We head to the courtyard where the Qriffindor Quidditch team was meeting.

"Clear out, Flint! I booked the pitch for Gryffindor today", Oliver Woods says.

"Easy, Wood. I've got a note", Flint says holding out a piece of parchment. Woods snatches the piece of parchment from Flint before making an angry expression.

"'I, Professor Severus Snape, do hereby give the Slytherin team permission to practice today, owing to the need to train their new Seeker.' You've got a new Seeker? Who?", Woods asks.

"It's Malfoy", one of the players says.

"Draco?", Potter says. I didn't know they were close enough to use first names.

"That's right. And that's not all that's new this year...", Draco says holding his broomstick out in a flaunting way.

"Those are Nimbus Two Thousand Ones", Weasley says shocked.

"A generous gift from Draco's father", Flint says. After Draco got onto the team Mr. Malfoy decided to buy the team Nimbus Two Thousand Ones to make sure Draco had the best chance to succeed.

"That's right, Weasley. You see, unlike some, my father can afford to buy the best", Draco says.

"Draco...", I say grabbing his arm.

"Kaiyo?", Potter asks just realizing my presence.

"At least no one on the Gryffindor team had to buy their way in. They got in on pure talent", Granger says. Draco was about to say something, but I gripped his arm tighter and gave him a look that translated roughly to 'let me handle this'.
