Sounds of crying can be heard across the room, making the older startle from his deep sleep. Minho opens his eyes and stares blankly at the ceiling. The sudden commotion early in the morning makes him blur.

His hair sticks out in every direction, showing a sign of deep sleep. Minho shakes his head and stretches his body.

"Daddy!"

The sound of his little calling for him still sounds unreal. Minho really takes his time to fully snap out from his fuzzy head.

But another loud cry makes him realize that his baby really needs him right now!

"I'm coming, baby.."

Minho goes to the door that connects between two rooms, and he sees his little petal struggling in the comfy blanket. He sighs and starts untangling the knots, and his little gives him a side eye.

"I'm sorry baby.. I fall asleep in another room, it's my fault, okay? Come on, little one.."

Jinnie's lips tremble, and his eyes full with tears as of now. He waited for his caregiver to pull him on his feet.

Minho literally came home late last night, and he didn't dare to bother his little sleep when he knew how hard Chan put the baby in bed. Jinnie was literally throwing tantrums for a whole day, realizing that his caregiver didn't stay home.

Minho pulls the baby on his feet, giving the chance for the baby to lean on his chest. "Good morning, baby..."

Sensing that his caregiver is in front of him, Jinnie giggles and suckles on his caregiver's nape while letting out a huff. The comforting scent of his caregiver makes the baby feel at home, the scent of sea breeze and jasmine from Minho's luxurious cologne that lasts long, pushing the baby into deeper headspace.

"You really love Daddy hmm baby?"

Jinnie nods his head and closes his eyes, ready for another round of nap. But Minho has another plan for the baby, "Hye baby.. Wake up, little one.."

Jinnie shakes his head, Minho caresses the baby's face and pulls him out from the comfort.

Jinnie whines and whimpering, doesn't want the warmth of his caregiver gone. " No crying petal.. Looks like it's early in the morning, and I'm thinking of fixing breakfast for Channie Hyung. Do you want to help me?"

Little Jinnie shakes his head vigirously, he remembered that his Hyungie put him on a timeout yesterday. "Nuh.. Bad yungie.."

Minho frowned his eyebrows, "Bad Hyungie? No, he's not baby.. Why did you say that, eung?"

"Pwease Daddy.. nuh yungie.."

Jinnie's eyes mist with tears, and Minho hates that's the most. "It's okay, bubsie.. If you don't want to help me, I can do it myself. But at least, let me fix you a bottle of warm milk, hmm?"

Jinnie nods his head and starts to suck on his thumb, making Minho pull out his finger from him. "Petal, we do not put our fingers in mouth."
