It's not a vent of some kind, but a kind of rambling about unfair treatment. It's just something I want to say, I don't know about other writers, but for me, I think this is a problem.
news flash, I'm a teen. I'm 16, I know, it's a big age. People my age write a lot of things like fanfiction, romance, fantasy, and adventure. Why does no one my age write horror? Or are there people like that? if you are, dm me, I will love to talk with you friend.
I love horror, I love gore and the lore. I love mystery and the suspense that makes your blood boil. I love making you tremble and shiver, it's part of the process.
But when I talk to people bout that, why do they dismiss me as being some sort of sick, twisted person?
I can say that I have a good relationship with my parents and school, and the reason IO wrote horror is that horror, no matter the age, will connect with the reader. It will scare them, and I'm here for it.
Who says horror is only for a middle-aged 40-something woman? Yes, I know she has more experience than me, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't write it. Why not? I'll learn more right?
