Daughter of Jaime Lannister

You were the daughter of Ser Jaime Lannister, the kingslayer as he was commonly referred to. 16 years ago, when you were born, your mother died as you entered the world. Distraught and knowing he could never love another woman, your father joined the Kings guard and vowed to never marry or have any children that he didn't already have, leaving you an only child

Although you longed deeply for a mother, your childhood was rather grand. You were your father's princess, and he loved you dearly. Always reminding you that you were the light of his life and that he would burn cities just to see your smile. You always believed it to be dramatic, but adored his words nonetheless. And although you don't have a mother, you had your aunt Cersei. She treated you like one of her own. Brushing your hair each night before bed, singing to you and telling you stories. She too swore to do anything to ensure your happiness

You were raised side by side with joffrey, almost like his sister. You know some of your friends have never met their cousins, many families don't know those outside their household, but you were rather lucky to live within the same castle walls as your dear cousins. Joffrey grew to be a heartless coward, but there was still good in Myrcella and Tommen, something you wished to preserve

"Y/n!" Your father yelled rushing into your chambers. You were crying as cersei held you against her chest, stroking your hair and whispering that it would all be alright

"What happened?" He asked sitting on the bed as you want towards him for a hug, crying into his chest

"She snook out of the castle and went to the markets-"

"You did what? Do you know how fucking dangerous that is?"

"Jaime, that's not why she's crying. Whilst she was there, a swarm of much older brutes began yelling all sorts of nasty things. Luckily some lannister soldiers saw and killed the men before escorting y/n safely back here" you had a scowl on your face, knowing he would surely scold you

"Oh darling, I'm sorry I wasn't there. You mustn't go over the castle walls without permission and prior arrangement. We have rules for this very reason"

"I'm sorry. But they were saying such horrid stuff. Thing is, it isn't the first time I've heard them...people say things...in court, outside in the markets. The Queen and the Kingslayer, together, they call me, joffrey, tommen and myrcella bastards, say joffrey has no real claim to the throne, that he belongs to you...and father" you say looking at cersei as you lean against your father. Cersei reaches over and tucks your hair behind ear, kissing your forehead and smiling

"People make up silly tales when they are bored. Your mother was Edith Mytell. She would've been such a wonderful mother to you, and we don't want her name being forgotten, so you must remember who you belong to. You are Lady y/n of house lannister, daughter of Ser Jaime Lannister and Edith Mytell. Remember her name" cersei tells me

"Edith mytell" I whisper, like I do each night before I sleep from fear that I may forget her. Later on that day, I went to my grandfather's office

"Grandfather, may I speak with you for a moment?" You asked knocking on lord tywins office

"Y/n, come and sit down. What is it you want to speak to me about?" He asked. He always sounded so serious, but you knew he loved you and didn't mean to sound so brash and harsh

"You know why I'm here. The rumours, are they true?" You asked getting straight to the point. He sighed, knowing you would ask sooner or later

"Of course not. I raised your Aunt Cersei and your father to be respectable, powerful citizens in society. Don't suggest such things girl. Now I don't want to hear any more of it"
