RYO BIT HIS NAILS ANXIOUSLY as he reread the message. he wasn't sure if the english was even correct, he had too much going on in his life to worry about learning english. now he understood why they tried to teach him it when he was in school...
he was too nervous to ask danielle about it. growing up in australia she understood the language completely. still, he was already embarrassed enough and he couldn't handle even a little bit more of teasing at the moment. he knew dani wouldn't make fun of him but it was better to be safe than sorry.
"what are you doing?" two hands settled in Ryo's shoulders, making him shake. without thinking about it he sent the message and turned off his phone praying for the best.
"nothing just reading some twitter" he answered taking a hand to his head. he brushed some strands away from his face and looked at the person behind him.
"Hiyyih? what are you doing home so early, i thought you were with your siblings?" Ryo's eyebrow was raised, hiyyih had only been gone for two days and she was supposed to come back in five.
"i know" she dragged her words. "but we weren't doing anything and i missed you guys" Hiyyih patted Ryo's cheek and then walked to the dorms kitchen.
"i'm home!"
the steps could be heard in all of the dorm. along with some different yells, ryo could only differentiate some of the words.
"what are you doing here?" eunchae yelled while swinging hiyyih side to side. before she could respond Ryo interrupted her.
"how come you guys never greet me like that? hmm?" he smirked looking at all of them taking turns to hug the older girl.
"i would worry about your ass getting caught simping on letterboxd if i were you" Jungwon said making the other members besides him laugh. Ryo opened his mouth to respond but a vibration in his pocket made him stop.
without even looking at his phone he started running to his and jungwon's room "i'm gonna take a shower!"
