It all began in the stars. It was all over the news. At first I didn't realize it. Mom didn't either. The night it was truly discovered and believed by the world is the night the stars were stolen. Everyone was scared. Everything was stolen except the moon. The sun was Earth's biggest star without it time was lost. No one knew if it was night or day. Jobs were affected. Miner couldn't see as well and coal was running out. Winds and breezes were few. There was no light. Only darkness. And with darkness comes death. People died without warning. I was surround with a world full of darkness. Soon it was my mothers turn to leave me. When she did I wasn't surprised, I couldn't even cry I had shed so many tears as I watch my school friends just walk outside and get killed by the darkness. The darkness wasn't just dark it had began to live and create living. I stayed in my house where I knew I was safe. I very shortly ran out of food so I decided to take a move that would change my life. For the first time in two years I walked outside. That was when I changed. That is where the story of Emma Winter began.
