Radio waves- None
Microwaves- These heat body cells. This may cause burns if the body is exposed to these waves for a long period of time.
Infrared- Skin burns and Redding of skin.
Visible light- Direct exposure to visible light may damage eye sight partially or even permanently.
Ultraviolet radiation- Skin burns and even skin cancer. This is because UV causes mutations in cells.
X-Rays- Cancer
Gamma rays- Cancer
The last three types of waves are ionizing. This means they have the ability to change cells. As a result, cancer may be caused.
