Summary (3rd person POV):

Enid has been in a foul mood ever since the new semester started. Yoko's sick of it, so she enlists her friends to help figure out what has gotten the wolf into such a miserable state.

"Alright Pup, what in Drac's name is up with you lately?" Yoko asks Enid, who's head lifts lazily from resting in her arms.

"What do you mean?" Enid replies. If she' trying to feign some form of her old self she's failing miserably.

"You've been moping around campus for nearly a month. Don't try and play it off either cause even Bianca has asked me what's wrong with you!"

Enid recoils at the older girl's volume. Her never ending headache taking the words personally. "I'm just tired, Yoko. Between wolfing out for the first time, having to hear my Mum's clearly forced pride all break and the new semester starting early to make up for lost time, I'm just beat."

Yoko eyes the blonde suspiciously, "While all that is definitely true, there's something more going on. I can sense it."

"Sense it? What are you, a telepath?" Enid chuckles, earning a childish smirk from the vampire.

"Maybe I am, you'd never know until it's too late and I know all your secrets." She winks. Enid allows herself another laugh, sounding more genuine than the last. "I've missed that, seriously E. Where have you been?"

Her frown returns in earnest. "Please, Yoko. Just leave it?" Enid begs, eyes pleading with desperation. After a short lived staring contest, Yoko relents with a sigh. "I'm going to head to the dorms now, I'll see you tomorrow."

"Alright, Pup." Yoko watches as Enid forces herself to rise from the table, body moving stiffly like she had been accidentally stoned recently. Yoko knows she hasn't though. She'd never hear the end of it if she had. "Sleep well."

Divina and Bianca are discussing new ideas for next years Poe Cup when Yoko welcomes herself into the room. "Oh please, do come in." Bianca bites, receiving a middle finger from the pale girl.

"Hey Baby, what's up?" Divina greets, sounding far more excited to see her than Bianca. To be fair, who wouldn't be happy to see their girlfriend?

"Enid is up!" Yoko grumbles, flopping dramatically onto the bed in between the two Sirens. Her arm drapes over her forehead in the most exaggerated way as she exhales.

"Still?" Divina frowns, hand finding Yoko's baby-hairs to play with. "Do we know what's wrong yet?"

"No, she just keeps blaming it on being tired." Yoko sits up abruptly, forcing Bianca to scoot up the bed to avoid a direct hit to the face. "There's no way she's just tired."

"Ugh, why are we always talking about this?" Bianca groans as she sets aside her notebook filled with ideas. Clearly their brainstorming session was being abandoned for the night. "Have you asked Addams if she knows anything? I mean, they share a room."

"I...hadn't thought of that, actually." If Yoko had the ability to blush she would be beet red right now. "Kinda forgot about the lil' black shadow of hers to be honest." Bianca rolls her eyes, longsuffering.

"I'll ask her tomorrow, we have a sparring match scheduled so it'll seem more casual than if you approach her."

"Thank you." Yoko whispers her next words, "She scares me."

"We know." Divina and Bianca say in unison, sharing an equally unimpressed look with each other.

Bianca's off her game, Wednesday thinks as she lands a clean cut to her opponent's cheek. "Well, ask me whatever it is that has you failing so miserably." She demands, catching Bianca a little off guard.
