Ah so that made sense, it was from his estate. What amused him was the fact that Su was considered troublesome even at her old age. Could his staff not handle her? What was she gonna do? She was as old as dust

Closing the letter Scaramouche stuffed it into his pocket and turned to look at the clock within his office, time was shooting bye. He could either get his work done now or suffer later at night. It was a easy decision

"One of you bring your asses In here!"
Scaramouche command loudly and waited until whatever poor fatui member was chosen to scramble into his room. She stood at attention at once "yes sir?"

Writing down on a piece of paper quickly Scaramouche held it out over the desk "Go to this address at once, hand them this bag of Mora and get escorts to ensure their safety. Inform them that I am unfortunately busy at the moment and will conduct business with them later. Understood?"

"Of course sir! I shall take my leave at once!" She shouted and turned on her heel to leave the office.

Scaramouche sighed and leaned back into his chair while closing his eyes. He did say "No promises" when leaving you this morning. He knew it would probably hurt your feelings but duty was calling and it was calling HARD. Deployment was a tiresome affair and so was taking on the work with it.

When his eyes opened they just so happen to land on a piece of paper sticking out of his desk. The way it was stuffed looked as if it was supposed to be hidden until his arrival.

"The hell...?" He whispered to himself and took it with ease. What was up with people leaving him letters these last few days?

"So I heard of your deployment to Inazuma from her Majesty's order. Lucky you, I've been stuck in Liyue much longer than you. Meet me at our favorite little restaurant tonight. We need to talk."

Crushing the paper at once Scaramouche sneered at his fellow Harbinger's letter. Why the fuck would he want to catch dinner with him after his little stunt with you? What a fool

But the dumbass ginger had a point, they did need to talk. He also needed his ass beat

When you received the letter from Scaramouche from a lower rank Fatui you thanked her. Of course he was busy, but you could have helped him in his office! It was what you were beginning to do before the two of you cut off ties

Was he avoiding you? That didn't make sense, he was so desperate just to get back with you just yesterday.

"Ah so he won't be joining me for lun- erm business?" You spoke with a smile and the lady fatui bowed "I'm afraid not miss."

Well that was disappointing.... "Can you do me a favor then?" You asked and she raised her head at once

"Of course! What is it?"

"Can you request that Ekaterina join me for much then? You did say that he requested an escort."

She awkwardly rose "Well that Lord Scaramouche did, however she is not qualified enough to defend you should there be a threat. But still I will request for her. Good day."

And like that she left and walked down your complex hallway. You watched and closed your front door, throwing yourself back inside. You had some time to get ready so why not? The worst case scenario is that you would be eating by yourself, Scaramouche had generously left you a bag of mora to pay for whatever your heart desired. Was he allowed to use Fatui funds this way? Doubted it

But it was cute that he was taking a risk like that for you.

By the time you had finally got word of Ekaterina the sun was starting to set, you had considered canceling the meal to spend time with Scaramouche but he was yet to return. It was obvious the Fatui were very busy with whatever was going on
