"Um, not really...I just wanted to let you know that I'm going to have dinner with Stiles and Sheriff."

She nodded and reached for her purse, "Well, here's some money..." She said, reaching her hand out to hand me twenty dollars.

I shook my head, and pushed her hand away. "I'm fine, Stiles already picked up the food on the way here."

"Well then pay him back..."

I let out a small laugh, "He refuses to let me pay no matter how hard I try, but I have some money already just in case, thank you anyways." I pulled her into a hug, giving her a squeeze. "I love you mom, and I really look up to you for making it through all of this....We're going to be okay."

I hadn't said a word since I had gotten into Stiles' jeep, and I could tell it was literally eating him alive that I wasn't talking. His grip on the steering wheel was so tight his knuckles were white, and he was doing weird things with his mouth kind of like he was trying to speak but nothing would come out.

"Autumn, babe.....did something happen? I mean when I talked to you twenty minutes ago everything seemed okay,"  He released his grip on the steering wheel and intertwined his fingers with mine, "I mean normally silence isn't awkward for us, but this is driving me insane. And I'm worried about you..."

I let out a sigh, "I'm sorry, it's nothing don't worry..."

"Autumn..."

"My mom was just on the phone, she was opening up to my aunt about stuff...which is extremely rare cause they never talk much. But I guess she needed someone to talk to..."

He pulled into the station, and yanked off his seatbelt  before cutting off the engine of the jeep. "Is she okay? What's wrong?" He shifted in his seat so we were sitting closer together, and he was facing me head on.

"Not as okay as she wants people to think, but it's nothing too serious. She's heartbroken, still in love with my dad....worried about Lydia and I. Worried about the future when my dad's money runs dry...you know...we can talk more later, we need to get this food to your dad. I'm sure he's starving."

"Baby, he can wait....I'm focused on you right now."

I sent him a small smile, and placed a kiss on his cheek. "I appreciate that, but i'm fine. And we can always talk more later, okay? I'm starving, what did you get for us to eat anyways?"

"Oh you'll see..."

Stiles and were seated on the opposite side of Sheriff's desk, as he finished putting some papers away so we could all eat. Stiles handed me my salad, and pulled out his. Little did Sheriff Stilinski know, his requested "Greasy extra cheesy cheeseburger, aka a heart attack on a plate" was a veggie burger.

"Cheeseburger Paradise was closed, so I decided we could try a new place." Stiles said as he handed the burger over to his dad.

Papa Stilinski raised an eyebrow at his son, "It was closed? Stiles, it's open twenty four hours...trust me I know these things."

Stiles shrugged, "Maybe it's a cheeseburger paradise holiday, okay? I have no idea why they were closed. Well I could probably guess it's from the numerous health violations I've seen, but–"

As Stiles ran his mouth, sheriff went in for the first bite. As soon as his teeth began to grind up the burger, his face crinkled up into an disgusted look. "Stiles, what in the world am I eating?"

Stiles ignored the question and began to pile salad into his mouth, while I bit back a laugh that was threatening to erupt out of my mouth.

"Stiles. What is this?"
