Apex Predator

I saw someone in the distance. That thing is tall and is slowly creeping up. Huh? Is that thing targeting me? I shall run now; maybe if that thing fails to follow me, I will be safe and it will be like any normal day.

I am safe; still, what am I feeling? I don't like it...

Where is that thing? I am probably safe now; I outran it. I hope so. 

What? It's that thing again! It's eyeing me! I better run again, for I bet this time I would lose it. I would lose it.

Huff huff huff, I am running out of breath; I am heating up. I'd better rest up in the tree there. But still, that thing! I hope that thing is gone. Something is telling me! That thing is dangerous! I don't know it yet, and I don't want to find out!

Huh? Huh? Huh? It's that thing again! It tracked me! It's coming for me! It's still walking here, eyeing me with those menacing eyes! Still, I can do it; I still have a few energies stored in the tank.
