Link, Katherine, and yourself, had planned to leave the next day, but neither of you had expected it to rain. Not only was it raining, it was a thunderstorm. So, the three of you had to stay another day in castle town. Ot wouldn't be a great idea to travel in a thunderstorm after all.
Currently, you had been sitting in one of the corners in the tavern, with the book in your lap.
Your legs had been pulled up to your chest, while you sat slouched against the wall, on the floor.
The tavern had been closed for today, so you were going to enjoy the silence, and empty space. Or so you would've liked to. But sadly enough, Katherine decided she was going to stay at the tavern for today as well.
That being said, she was giving you this nasty look from across the room, while she took a sip from her tankard.
Choosing to ignore her, you turned your attention back to the book that was currently resting against your legs.
Link was sat beside you, book open, while the both of you stared at it.
You had finally forced yourself to read it, of course with the help and reassurance of Link.
The both of you looked over the pages, while admiring some of the sketches drawn onto the pages.
For the next few hours, Link and yourself sat there, reading what was written down, while admiring the story and chatting about it.
Eventually afternoon came. Telma called the both of you over, while she placed some bowls of pumpkin soup down, at a table.
Link got up, and went over, thanking her for the meal. You were about to get up and join, but suddenly, a specific sketch caught your eye, causing your mind to go fuzzy.
And then everything went dark.
You stumbled around, looking around for Link, or even Telma. Calling out to them, but getting no response. You became extremely worried. Heart was racing, mind felt like it was going to explode. In general, you felt like you were about to breakdown.
But then the darkness cleared, and suddenly, you were somewhere completely different from the tavern.
It felt like you had some sort of oddly shaped object in your hand. Moving these strange things around on it. Looking at where the device connected, it lead to some sort of window?
No, it wasn't a window, or at least you didn't believe so. It seemed for like a extravagant piece of art, that seemed to move along with the thing on the device your hands were holding.
It was all so strange. Looking around the room, things looked so different from the things you've seen in hyrule.
Your head began to throb, probably from all of this new information. But you couldn't be too sure.
And just like that, it all faded to black again, before placing you back in the tavern. Still sitting on the ground, staring at the sketch in the book.
It was all too confusing to you, so instead of thinking about it, you just shook your head, before closing the book, placing it in your bag, and joining Link and Katherine at the table.
Thanking Telma for the food, before digging into it with a spoon.
Telma replied with a chuckle, and a 'any time', before heading back to the counter.
Katherine continued to stare you down, even while eating. She was also giving Link a look, you couldn't place it, but, it was probably a bad sign. No. It was a bad sign.
You couldn't care less if she gave you a nasty look. But Link was an entirely different story. You'd probably fight whatever gods, goddesses, or any higher power for him.
Pausing in your own thoughts, because of something you only just noticed.
Katherine had placed her hand on Link's waist. It looked like she was digging her nails into his skin.
Grumbling quietly under your breath, as you sighed. Placing your spoon back in your bowl, before picking your soup up. You stood up, causing your chair to slide back, you walking around the table, placed your bowl in between them, before going back, and picking up your chair.
Placing your chair between them, before placing yourself in said chair. You began to eat again, feeling a smug look cross your lips.
You could feel Katherine internally rage beside you, and that only made your grin widen.
Link on the other hand, seemed to relax now. He muttered out a quiet 'thank you' before getting back to eating his own food.
Humming in response, you continued to eat. But, you couldn't help but worry about his side. You'd have to check to see if he was injured, later.

796 words.
Sorry that the chapter is shorter than normal, I'm not feeling that well mentally today, and my motivation for this story has decreased lately.
So I deeply apologise if this chapter seems lazy, and not well written.
Anyways, there are probably only a few more chapters left till the end of the story. If I had to guess, the limit being ten.
Anyways, hope you all have a good day/night, and good bye.
