Eliza decided it would be a good opportunity to speak to Charlotte "Hey Charlotte" The girls hugged
Eliza had met Charlotte two years ago when her dad had to visit New England for business meetings. The Feder and Mackenzie family had a catch up dinner
"Hey Liza" she smiled "Don't look now but Donnas brothers looking at you" she smirked
"which one?" Both girls laugh
They talked until it was time for the ceremony, Eliza took a seat behind the eldest Lamonsoff son, She had to admit he was pretty cute. After a while it was her fathers turn for a speech.
"I'm sorry I'm not prepared at all. I feel very honoured that coach asked me to do this but, uh I also feel terrible because I haven't seen the coach in so long, and he always wanted me to come to town to see him. And I got caught up in what I've been doing and.. I regret it.. I understand the 'saint marks' team of 1978 was the only championship team the coach ever had and uh...that's impressive... I gotta say judging from the talent we had to offer, I mean Robbie and Marcus were actually sorter in 1978" he joked causing the whole room to laugh
Eric decided to chime in "yeah but those guys had a skill that you never mastered... they knew how to pass the ball" he argued jokingly resulting in more laughter
"Looks like somebody has to learn how to pass the Kentucky Fried Chicken." Lenny stated amused "I'm kidding, I'm kidding. We're saying goodbye to a big part of our lives, all of us. You- you affected everyone everybody in this room, and I hope we get to live our lives like you...have no regrets when life's final buzzer sounds.. so uh, lets bow our heads in silence"
After a moment of silence he walked back and sat down beside Eliza. Robbie started singing 'Ava Marie' and most people were trying not to laugh- which became hard as he picked up the photo of coach and span. Eric was the first to start laughing, followed by Lenny and Eliza. Robbie then moved towards the statue and sang in her ear, the vicars eyes widen and looked extremely uncomfortable with the situation.
Higgins started laughing causing Eliza to laugh much more to the point of tears, earning a scolding from her mother.
Robbie dropped to one knee as he concluded his little show. Eliza being the immature sixteen year old she is, cupped her hands and made a buzzer sound, causing the room to erupt in laughter. Lenny head snaps towards his daughter and high fives her
"Grow up will you?" He snapped
"Oh, look at him now" Lenny laughed at the sight of Robbie sulking "don't be mad there Robbie"
The service ended and they where all now eating in the garden area which was decorated for the occasion. Eliza was sat beside Becky and Charlotte, opposite the guy she had yet to know the name of
After a while she started to get peckish so went to the food table. After gathering a content amount of food she looked dup to she the oldest Lamonsoff son. "Hey" she said smiling at the boy in which he returned.
"Hi, I'm Milo nice to meet you" he said
"I'm Eliza" Both teens continued talked, not even noticing all the parents watching with smiles "so, did you know the coach well?" she asked
"Yeah, he was like another father figure to me, he'd always make sure he had time. Taught me how to play basketball. what about you? you know coach well?" The boy questioned
"No way- he taught me everything I know about basketball, we should have a game some time. And yeah he was like a grandfather to me, I think he once referred to me as a mini Higgins- whatever that means." She stated " Me and dad used to come up every spring and visit, last time we where here was two years ago. Its sad to think we'll never see him again" She sighed
"Feel like you could of made more of an effort?" nodding her head he continued "yeah I know what you mean, been kind of busy with everything you just kind of forget, y'know"
"I'm sure he'll be shooting the hoots of heaven now- watching over us and all" She smiled in which he returned

"So Lenny, how does a fugly blob like you like you end up with such a smoking hot daughter?" Higgins queried
"Hey! Can you not!" Lenny warned
"Well somebody seems to take an interest in her" Sally motioned over towards her son whom was in deep conversation with the Feder girl
They all continue their day remember the the coaches life.
