AVENIGHT is no where to be seen inside the palace. Sage has no idea where to find him, but she's just politely sitting on the sofa, obeying what he said.
Thursday left a while ago to do something, hindi naman niya alam kung anong gagawin nito kaya hindi na lang din siya nagtanong.
Right now, she's busy observing two men on her both sides. Thursday ordered them to keep an eye on her, and they're just literally standing, doing nothing.
"Aysh," she groaned in annoyance in the midst of dead silence. Nakangusong tumayo siya sa kinauupuan bago lapitan ang isa.
Dahan-dahan niya itong kinulbit. "Kuya."
Mabilis naman itong yumuko sa kaniya nang may buong paggalang. "What can I do for you, My Lady?"
"Hmm." Sage put her index finger on her chin before smiling. "I-tour mo po ako sa palace. Dali na, please."
"I apologize, madame, but we can't do that without Lord Avenight's permission," paghingi nito ng pasensya.
Bumusungot siyang muli. "Ehh, naman eh! It's so quiet, nabubugno na po ako rito. Sige na, kuya. Please? Bibigyan kita maraming toys, promise!"
Muli itong yumuko sa kaniya. "I'm really sorry, My Lady."
"Sige na, kuya. Kahit secret na lang po."
"My Lady, we're not really allowed to do that."
"Naman si kuya, eh. Hindi na rin kita bati palagi, kapag wala kang friends dito hindi kita ifri-friend, sige ka. Please, please, please. Kahit two minutes lang—"
"Why are you bothering him, woman?"
Sage quickly faced the direction where that voice came from in excitement. "Avenight!"
Mabilis siyang tumakbo papalapit sa lalaki at lumingkis dito. "Saan ka galing? Bakit ang tagal mo? Sabi ko sa 'yo dapat sama na lang ako kanina, eh."
Inalis ng lalaki ang pagkakakapit niya sa braso nito bago siya paningkitan ng mga mata. "Stop bothering other people and follow me."
Nakangiting sinundan niya ang lalaki nang magsimula itong maglakad. She's now free to wander her eyes around the palace.
Every single thing is made out of gold, even the decorations are gorgeous and obviously expensive. The chandeliers are enormous and made out of gold as well.
The path they're walking at right now is filled with paintings. She's familiar with all of them, her sister loves art and she have seen these paintings already. Meraih spent million dollars for them!
