Hey, guys. Remember the spoiler I gave you last chapter? Well, it's true. I'm actually dealing with some personal shit right now, so that'll probably make this chapter easier to write. Thing will go from good to bad VERY quickly in this chapter, so just a heads up: ***SOME OF THE FOLLOWING MAY BE TRIGGERING TO THOSE WHO DEAL WITH CERTAIN THINGS. PLEASE DONT READ IF ITS PUTTING YOURSELF AT RISK. I LOVE YOU*** By the way, I use Todd County, Kentucky in this chapter, and just know that Warped doesn't actually go there, I'm just winging this as I go along cx. Anyway loves, enjoy.

I opened my eyes.

I immediately, as quickly as possible, looked down at the base of my throat where there now sat the most gorgeous silver necklace. I should have guessed that the gift was jewelry, but this necklace was different; I knew by just the first glance. A thin, smooth chain surrounded by neck and the pendant hit just below my collarbone. Oh, that pendant. I looked down at it in awe, bringing a hand up to caress it. It was angels wings. The thing even had etched feathers into the silver, perfected so that they almost looked real. I ran my fingers over it, amazed at the utter perfection of the gift. Honestly. It wasn't even really the gift I was so taken by; it was the intense thought and hard work that Jasper had put into finding this gorgeous thing. Considering its loveliness, I wouldn't have dared to ask how much he'd paid for it. I looked up at him, his eyes a mix of wonder and nervousness. He chewed his bottom lip in anticipation and he waited for me to say something, but I honestly had no words. Thankfully, though, he shoved his hands in the pockets of his jeans nervously and said, "I do so hope you like it, love." Liked it? I was absolutely taken with it. "I love it, Jasper. The wings are incredible." I turned to face him entirely, standing up on my tip toes to reach him at his height and gave him a sweet peck on the lips. I found it kind of adorable when his cheeks turned a light shade of Crimson; it was the first time I'd seen Jasper show me a side of him that wasn't confident and considerate. He was opening up to me, and I liked it. He brushed a stray hair behind my ear and then guided my eyes downward to the necklace again. "There's more," he said, which caught my attention. How could there be more to it? It was already perfect. He flipped the pendant over to show me the underside of it that lay against my skin. It has previously felt smooth in contrast to the wing's etchings, but it was in fact actually carved with something. I took a closer look just as Jasper said, "You see, love? It's says strong." Which in fact it did, the carving warming my heart with just the word. "I wanted it to serve as a reminder to you," he explained, carassing my cheek with his thumb and holding my hand in his remaining one. "That you are strong, no matter what obstacles are thrown at you. Despite not knowing what all you have gone through in your life, I'd say it's been quite a bit for you to have felt the way you have." I still hadn't told him about my dad, and I wasn't sure if I would ever feel comfortable doing so. That was a part of my life that I wanted to shut down forever, and I didn't want him to know that about me. He smiled at me sweetly. "And yet you go about each day with a smile and I envy your strength, darling. You're one of the strongest people I've had the pleasure of knowing and I hope I can learn from you." Only Jasper could say something so heart felt to bring tears to my eyes, of which I blinked away quickly and said, "Thank you so much, Jasper. You're so good to me. I'm just glad I have you in my life." And I was. PTV, despite their big contribution, weren't the majority of my success in happiness. Jasper occupied my time, got me out of my head, made me feel as if I was wanted. The guys did this too of course, but they obviously had a huge job to do, what with their music and all. Jasper, though, he was always available and I clung to him like glue. Thinking about this, I felt kind of needy. But. Wouldn't let myself dwell on such a negative thought. Instead, I listened as Jasper gave me a grin and extended his arm, "Well then, love. You wish to join me on a stroll through the town?" I giggled; he was so cute when he tried to act the part of a stereotypical Brit. I didn't even attempt to suppress my grin as I took his arm and stated in a terribly fake British accent, "Why, that would be lovely, sir." With the that, he led me out of the bus, the both of us laughing as we leaned on one another for support.
