Once Asterius had finished explaining all he knew, Vizor looked at the shorter being with intrigue.
"Well, what do you say?" Asterius offered, "You let me live and you get knowledge to basically rule the universe." This offer, Vizor thought over it, taking in all possibilities. It took a while of deciding, but the demon finally came up with an answer.
"You have yourself a deal."
The demon and planet shook hands, solidifying the deal to their deaths. Vizor was first to break the handshake, looking around as if he was plotting something. That's when Asterius spoke.
"What now, Sire?" The words flew out his mouth as if they were as common as blinks. Vizor nearly glanced over the question, still figuring things out.
"Most likely when we figure out a way to escape this... void. Or wherever we are," he replied. The two looked around, seeing if anything could help them out. It was endless, going on further than the horizon, beyond that. Neither risked running in a direction, due to everything looking the same, it would be pointless. That's when Vizor remembered a certain ability of his.
"You don't happen to have anything to cast a decently large shadow, do you?" The demon asked, knowing that if Asterius did, they both would escape. Conveniently, Asterius pupils out model buildings from his pocket. Not the biggest, but when stacked would be a large enough shadow for a person or two to stand in. Once they were stacked, Vizor walked into the shadow, holding out a hand.
"Let's see if this will work. Grab my hand Asterius." he states, looking at the smaller figure. Within a breath, Vizor melted into shadows, Asterius close behind. All you could see was darkness, for a while. That was until they emerged. Under a tree, in the distance a desert hill the driest of sands blowing around a building on top. Vizor could barely contain his celebration, grinning in triumph as he whisper-shouted.
"YES! IT WORKED!" Happiness flowed through the demon, examining the surroundings in case anybody was nearby. Asterius on the other hand, was queasier than a seasick person on a boat during a storm. He liked the experience. Better than a wormhole. He was confused, asking Vizor one question.
"Where are we?" is all that flowed out his mouth. Vizor looked down to him, smiling gently.
"This, my celestial friend, is my universe. Or rather, it's Earth I should say." is what Vizor gave. Asterius wasn't the most enthralled, 'duller than space' is what he described. Vizor assured him that he didn't live on this planet, just had some 'things' to take care of. Walking to the forest, the Demon beckoned for Asterius to follow, the dense forest surrounding them. Vizor leads on until a church emerges into view. Cracked and crumbled in some places, but otherwise well kept. They walked in, passing the sanctuary and the altar to a back door. Passing through it, a glowing block in the ground at the centre of the room. Vines crept at the corners and unique imagery lined the walls. Around the block were steps, leading into a small dip in the floor. Vizor walks over to it.
"Just follow me," the demon said, "Stand on the glowing block on the floor and kneel down to touch it with your finger. It shall transport you there." The demon demonstrated the action and was warped by an aura of deep blacks and navy blues. Nervously and cautiously, Asterius steps onto the block, now entranced by its glow. Following what the demon did, the planet kneeled to touch the block. Now he too was transported in the aura of deep blacks and navy blues.

When Asterius opened his eyes, they were in a bunker, Vizor standing there smiling at the planet. Looking around the bunker was made of smooth, black stone hinted with gold glimmers in the cracks. On one of the walls, a pair of doors align with the wall. Opposite that, was a map. It was of the immediate area, above ground of course. It was curling at the edges, possible mould too. Age had taken its toll on it. Vizor seems to be taking it all in, relieved to be back, confirming this with one simple sentence.
"Ah, I've missed this place."
