Elektra's pov:

After I had breakfast alone in my room, an omega came and informed me that Alexander was already waiting for me at the parking lot. I took my bag and hurried out.

Alexander accelerated as soon as I got in. It was obvious that he was very impatient. During the trip we remained quiet without exchanging a single word. I was devastated. My heart was pounding and I felt awful. I couldn't stand Alexander's attitude. He was purposely ignoring me the whole time.

We reached the path leading to the elder's village, parked the car and continued on foot. During our ascent I felt very uncomfortable. Alexander climbed in complete silence without exchanging a single word. He was mad at me I could tell. "Oh my Goddess how did I manage to make such a mess! Although I knew I deserve his attitude, my heart can't take it" I thought to myself.

We reached the village and headed straight to the elder's cabin, knocked on his door and after we heard the elder's voice got in.

-"Welcome again, I've been expecting you" the elder said with a small smile.

-"Good morning elder Anaxagoras" Alexander said making a bow. He signaled us to sit down and offered us some tea. Alexander took a sip from his cup and started talking. He seemed anxious.

-"Slow down my child. Everything will be arranged. Have faith to our Goddess, she knows what she's doing."

Hearing that, made me internally rolled my eyes, a move that caught the elder's attention. He looked at me with piercing eyes "Child I can see that your soul is troubled and confused"

-"I.......I......." I managed to say.

-"Alexander can you please leave us alone for a while?" the elder asked Alexander.

-"Y......yes......" he said surprised and abruptly stood up and left the cabin. The elder looked at me and said in a very strict tone:

-"Child, what you did was wrong. You did not respect the laws of our Goddess and much more you rejected your mate for a shameless reason. You played with the most sacred thing in a werewolf's life. You acted immature and irresponsible"

-"I....I ...." I didn't know what to say. After all he was right. I screwed everything up.

-"Your wolf has abandoned you" he said after a few minutes of silence.

-"What? No it can't be. I can feel her, I talk with her" I contradicted.

-"It's not your wolf you've been talking with, but your conscience"

-"No, no this can't be.... You are wrong"

-"No, I am not. Your wolf abandoned you as soon as you rejected your mate"

-"You are lying" I said irritated.

-"No, I am not. I am telling you the truth".

-"Then how am I able to feel the bond if my wolf abandoned me?" I asked him in disbelief.

-"You can feel the bond?" the elder asked with wide eyes.

-"Of course I do. After I rejected Alexander I managed to feel the bond."

-"That's strange! Come" he said as he abruptly stood up and headed for the door.

-"Where are we going?" I asked him as I followed behind.

He continued to walk at a brisk pace, ignoring me. We arrived outside a large cabin and the old man knocked on the door.

After several minutes a young boy with a shaved head wearing a white camisole opened the door wide and bowed to us.
