Marinette stared at the man before her increduously. She watched him carefully as he removed the cloth from around her mouth.

It hadn't been very tight, just secure enough to not fall off but not enough to hurt her.

She ran over the situation in her head.

She had, apparently, been kidnapped be Red Robin of all people.

It was safe to say that she was greatly confused. Red Robin was a well regarded vigilante in Gotham, known for saving people rather than kidnapping them.

And her? Why her? What did she have to offer? She was not rich, influential and had no relatives who were either of the above.

She was merely Marinette Dupain-Cheng a small cafe owner and part time designer.

A sudden thought occured.

Miraculous.

What if someone had connected her to the miraculous? Sure, she was the guardian, but she hadn't actually donned a miraculous in many a year. She only looked after them. But if someone had found her out then she would have to take on up again.

Internally she curesed herself out. She should have figured that this was going to happen at some point.

With great effort she managed to pull herself out of her head before she had a panic attack.

Red Robin was watching her apprehensively.

That was another part of the puzzle. Why was he acting so weird? What relationship? She had only known him for the past couple hours because he had her tied up and gagged in what appeared to be a warehouse.

Now, that the rag had been removed (really, that cloth had better been clean because she would absoloutely not forgive him if she got sick) she swallowed her saliva.

"Umm, excuse me Mr. Red Robin, but um- why am I here?" In her time in America Marinette had gotten rather good at hidding her french origins by forgoing all the touristy Monsiours and  mademoiselles.

Tim melted. This girl was adorable. He was pretty sure that he was half way to falling in love with the girl. She had just been kidnapped, by a hero, none the less, and was still treating him with quiet respect. So, in turn, he grinned widely at her.

"Oh, thank you. I tell you that screaming people are a pain to keep hidden."

This did nothing to comfort the girl he could see, so he continued.

"As for why your here, well, I find myself in a bit of a situation."

A raised eyebrow.

"You see, my family," At this Red Robin gestured around him, as if they would materialize infront of him" has restricted my coffee supply, and a little birdy told me that you make a heavenly 'death brew'. So, I have kidnapped you to ask if you would make me the most caffeinated coffee possible"

Marinette could barely restrain herself from rolling her eyes at the absured pun. This man was in obvious need of coffee to even try making a joke like that.

She just had one question.

"Why kidnap me? Couldn't you just ask?" She was rather amused now that she was aware of the reasoning behind interupting her sleep.

The vigilante nodded his ascent to the question. "Yeah, I had to make it seem that I had nothing to do with you. It was really very elaborate, trying to hide a kidnapping from a family of detectives."

This only brought more questions, but, feeling that she would not get answers enough to satisfy her curiousity, she let it go and replying whilst giggling, she nodded. "I am always up for thwarting family members who obstruct coffee drinkers." Hearing this Red Robin sighed in relief. "But, could you please untie me please?" Then, in mock seriousness, she continued. "I think our relationship is serious enough to warrent it."

Here is the second half of 'Tim makes a new friend'. This also has not really been edited. I hope you like it though. It was jsut really quick so it isn't very detailed or long.

Feel free to give me ideas for oneshots and I will try to get them out.
