A WISH

A WISH prologue

" if only I could just go in there. "

Sighing I stared at the war through my screen. 

" if I were in there, could I have done something to stop this? "

The thought bothered me, the one word 'if' brought a possibility for a future where everyone could have had a chance at a better life. The thought of me being there, and somehow adding something to this world to help it in some way, sent ripples of unknown emotions through my heart.

" alas, that is an impossibility. It's not like I could just be transported into this universe like in those fanfictions i've read "

Shaking my head I chuckled at the childish and stupid thought.

" it's just a fantasy. "

Finishing a few more videos I decided to finally rest my tired eyes.

-I'm sure to dream about the war since I have been watching it since morning

Snuggling up inside my blanket I finally drifted off to my beloved land of dreams.

The sudden feeling of the air shifting and my surroundings disturbed my sleep. Confused and still half asleep I forced my eyes open, letting them adjust to what was in front of me as my still sleepy eyes started at nothing in particular in a glaring manner. 

-the heck is going on? 

When I saw only pitch black it confused my brain that was still loading. 

-oh right I turn off my lights when I sleep but, this is so black! wait, is there a blackout? I mean I kept the night light turned on if I remember right. 

Sitting up I little I looked around to see something but failing miserably as I couldn't even see my own hand in front of my face.

-the actual heck 

" welcome dear child to the system of wonders!! "

A sudden burst of light and the booming unknown voice shocked my soul right out of my body.

" hello! New user! You have been hand-picked by the god of wonders to fulfill your heart's deepest desires! Isn't that wonderful and so kind of him! "

Too stunned to speak I sat there confused to the max. 

-what the actual heck is even happening here?! What is this!? Who is that clown!? Is he talking to me? What the hell kind of dream is this!? I thought for sure I would dream about nothing else but the war!! What the heck is this!?

" helloo~ dear child are you still with us? "

" i-I uh..."

" I see! You're still confused about this aren't you? Well, that is a given considering all of this was so sudden for me too! Well then, let me explain again so you can understand and process everything better! "

-what is this weird clown-looking-man even talking about now?

" so! This is very simple really! Earlier before you went to sleep your heart desired something, it was so powerful that the god of wonders decided to give you a chance to fulfill its desire! So, right now you are in the presence of the gods servant, which is me! "

-so... this is happening cuz I wanted to go inside the Naruto world?!?!

" erm not to be disrespectful mr.servant sir, but, I was just simply being childish. I wasn't serious or anything ehehe so... can I go back to sleeping now? " 

" what's this... this is the first time the gods generous offer has ever been rejected... "

" yeah... sorry about that, tell him I said sorry? so, can I please go back now? "

My nervous awkward laugh rang alone all around as the earlier hyper and jolly clown man was now looking very gloomy. 

" um si- "

" I'm afraid there's no going back now. "

He looked at me, sad and gloomy. 

" you shouldn't have made such a wish without expecting the corresponding responsibility. I'm afraid I have no power over the gods will so, you will have to do this, whether you agree or not. " 

" wait! What?! "

Sighing he lifted his hand. 

" off you go now! safe travels dear, I hope you succeed! "

" WAIT! NOOOOO! " 

The ground beneath me disappeared and I fell down into a pitch black hole that swallowed me up into a whole other world. Soon the darkness was penetrated by the sharp glare of a light making me glare and close my eyes. What appeared next left me astonished as the view is something anyone would ever see only once in their lives. 

" god this is so... beautiful! "

I didn't get to keep admiring the brilliant view as I fell down even faster making me close my eyes as my heartbeat accelerated.

" ahhhh!!!! "

" oof! " 

" ah! " 

My head snapped up as fast as I landed. My blood ran cold and my neck started sweating from what was, or rather who was in front of me. My eyes widened and my body froze completely.

-right now more than ever, I wish this was just a dream! 

As the angry red eyes glared right into my soul I was left at their mercy. 

-why here and why him of all people?! I haven't even been in this world for even a second and I'm already about to die!

" who are you? "

His voice was so familiar, yet his tone sent shivers down my spine. 

-dear god I'm so gonna die! It's freaking madara uchiha!
