"You haven't even seen the bathroom yet."
"We just got here," you complain in response, standing up again. "Give me a second- holy shit."
Levi steps out of the way so that you can see into the bathroom, and immediately, your eyes land on the massive bathtub. Is it a damn jacuzzi? Holy shit. The shower's massive and there's two sinks; gold trim lines the massive mirror. Christ, those are marble counters.
"Holy shit," you say aloud.
"Happy?"
You turn to him. "Are you kidding me? This is the nicest hotel room I've ever been in. And," you add, "the bed is almost as nice as yours."
Levi's lips twitch. "Almost."
"Almost," you agree. "The heated blankets are hard to beat."
"Mhm." You hold his gaze for a moment; then, Levi looks away. "Hungry?"
"We just ate, didn't we?"
"Not what I asked."
Hm. Well, not now, but... "Maybe I will be later, but I'm okay for now," you say truthfully. "Why? New Year's Eve plans?"
He shrugs. "No. Did you want to do something? There's a shit ton going on in the main square."
You frown, then look to the other side of the room. There's large, sliding glass doors against the far wall, leading out to a balcony. You wander over to that side of the room, pushing aside the curtains and looking out across the city.
Levi's right; the streets are packed. There's lights running up and down the streets, packed with people. You pull the balcony door open a crack, and you can hear music from the streets below.
Cold air rushes into the room; you push the door shut again. "We could..." We could go if you want dies on your tongue. You don't want to go out in the cold and hang out with massive crowds, and Levi doesn't either. You know that. "I'd rather stay in," you say, straightening up. "If- if that's okay."
"Duh," Levi says, and you smile. "I'm going to go out and grab some shit. We've got a couple hours until midnight. Suggestions?"
"For what?"
"Movies. Food."
You frown, thinking. "I'll find something while you're gone," you say, looking to the massive television. "Uh... pizza?"
Levi smirks, clueing in to what you were thinking of. Your first 'date': pizza in your physics classroom. "Pizza," he agrees. "I'll be back."
He stares at you from across the room, and after a pause, Levi turns and heads out. Once he's gone, you smile to yourself, taking one last look outside before you head over to the bathroom, ready to make full use of the fluffy towels and massive shower.
The timing all works out pretty well, because Levi returns just after you've had a fantastic shower and changed into comfier clothing for the evening. He's got two bags on one arm and a pizza in the other, and your eyes light up when you see him. "You're more excited to see the pizza than me," Levi complains.
He almost sounds affectionate. "Jury's still out," you say as you take the pizza from him, and he rolls his eyes.
Remembering Levi's aversion to eating on the bed, you sit at the foot of the bed with the pizza, crossing your legs. When you look up at Levi, he almost looks like he's smiling. "Wine," he says, pulling a bottle out of the bag. "Chocolate."
"What kind?" you ask eagerly, taking the wine bottle from him.
"Didn't know what kind you liked, so I got a few." He starts handing you chocolate bars. "Milk, dark, white, and there's some with nuts."
