"Why don't you rip your heart out and show it to me?", the line caused your face to distort into an expression of discomfort, as you fiddled around in the seat, hoping you could just by some great blessing disappear and reappear in the comfort of your home. However what caused you the most discomfort of all else, was how utterly serious he had sounded with his words, you silently urged him to change the subject, knowing better then to show your sheer unsettlement openly.
"I mean, if you truly loved me.. It would make sense.. Right..?" his head tilted slightly to the side as his eyes felt blank, void of just about any emotion as if he was really planning on going through with his words.
Your eyes widened, 'he's not serious is he?' you fiddled with the hem of your dress-shirt, slightly shaking, while you let out a nervous chuckle "F-funny!", your words came out shaky and abrupt, something that displeased him, as he clicked his tongue, the sound loud to your ears, as your body became hyper aware of its surroundings.
Thankfully, he let out a small airy chuckle that echoed across your ears, you followed after laughing along, doing your best to play along and praying that the hour would end soon.
"Aha.. just kidding" his expression softened, as he settled down properly, a reaction which helped soothe your nerves.
"It's quite hot in here" you stated, feeling a bit off, your body temperature has risen quite a bit and your mind feels hazy, blurred even. "Oh really?" a moment of silence falls between the two of you, as you felt much more unsteady than before. "I find it cold in here, actually..."
He continued on and on, but your mind closed off as you tried to stay awake, a sudden feeling of slumber overcoming you and engulfing you in its embrace.
"Would you like some cold water y/n?" he asked, only to receive silence in return, something that only resulted in aggravating him further, as he heightened his voice just a bit, repeating the previous sentence in a much sterner tone. After the third time, he turned around finally facing your form, which seemed barely alive, "Oh— maybe I overdid the drug usage.."
