"YOUR CANCELLING on me?" Vinnie asked over the phone with a frown on her face "yea sorry vi but uh I'm gonna be busy doing uh like work or sum" Vinnie sighed at mais words "but Mai this was your idea, and I don't wanna be on my own all day"

Mai tried her best to hide the annoyance in her voice "well suck up with it vi because I'm busy, not everything's about you" she said finally before hanging up

Vinnie and mai had made plans to go shopping for the baby together, and Vinnie was super excited until mai had called her up to tell her she wouldn't be able to make it, Vinnie didn't know if she was thinking too much into it but she felt that mai was acting different with her and she didn't know why

Vinnie was relieved when notti had agreed to come baby shopping with her since mai had cancelled and Ddot was going to be busy all day

"Imma be the best uncle ever, just know this baby gon be swagged out" the excitement was clear in his voice as they entered the baby shop, Vinnie only laughed at his words

"So how you been?"

Vinnie shrugged "this whole preggo situations been allot and I'm just worried that it's the reason people keep ditching me" she said honestly

"What are you talking about vi?"

"for some reason I feel like ddots avoiding me, like he's always at the studio all day and doesn't come home till late and-"

Notti cut Vinnie off "the studio?" He repeated "yea he's been there all week" Vinnie explained "I've been at the studio all week and he ain't showed up once" notti told her truthfully

Vinnie tried to piece together in her head why Ddot would lie to her and If he wasn't at the studio then where could he possible be but nothing came to mind

"So maybe he is avoiding me, same with Mai I think she's avoiding me too, she hadn't texted me all week and today the completely blew me off" Vinnie sounded slightly hurt

"Don't be stressing everything's gon be ight, all you gotta focus on is that mini ddot growing inside you" notti reassured giving his friend a small hug

Vinnie nodded the two continuing shopping

"So what's the bay gon be called?"

"I'm not too sure I wanted to ask Ddot if he had any ideas but I haven't had a chance to speak to him since he's been busy"

"Well if it's a boy I think you should call it Ethan after me, it has a nice ring to it" Vinnie began laughing at his words "I'm not naming my child after your slow ass"
