VINNIES AND DDOTS hands were interlocked as they walked together to the mall, he decided he wanted to spoil her and was taking her out shopping

Vinnie was blabbering about a new show she wanted them to watch together when the two bumped into someone

Vinnie looked up to who she had bumped into, giving the girl a gentle smile "oh sorry, our bad" she apologised on both of their behalf, Vinnie looked back and fourth between the girl and Ddot noticing that Ddot had froze and the twos eyes were locked together

She tugged on his arm slightly trying to snap him out of his trance but he still stared down at the girl "Melanie?" He said in a questioning tone looking at the girl infront of them "Darrian I can't believe it's actually you" the girl responded in a sickly sweet voice Vinnie waited for him to correct her on the fact she had used his gov like he usually would be he didn't

She watched as the two interacted, them having a whole conversation while she stood awkwardly "are you gonna introduce me to your friend" she nudged him finally interrupting the two "this is Melanie she was my-" the girl cut him off "me and him had a thing" Vinnie tried her best not to glare at her "nice to meet you" Vinnie tried her best not to sound jealous she gave  her a fake smile but a smile nonetheless

The three stared each-other down each of their minds full with thoughts and questions "well it was nice to meet you but we have to go" she broke the short silence "wait darrian let me get you new number so we can catch up again" he nodded passing her his phone "my names Vinnie by the way, I'm his girlfriend" she grasped onto his hand defensively a tight lipped smile on her face

When the couple went their separate ways Vinnie quickly dropped his hand "what the fuck was that about?" She asked "watchu mean?" He asked pretending to be clueless "don't act fucking dum cause I'm not gonna be playing games with you" she said through gritted teeth "your trippin' for no reason" Vinnie shook her head

"you had a whole conversation with her and acted like I wasn't even there" he turned to loot at her  "your really mad?" she sighed not wanting to argue "just take me home I don't even wanna go shopping no more" she said in a mood

For the rest of the day Ddot and Vinnie didn't speak and Vinnie spent the whole day with dd and notti "hey dd, notti can I ask you two a question?" They both nodded "do you guys know who Melanie is?" nottis smile dropped a bit "why you worrying about ddots ex for"

Vinnie shrugged "when me and Ddot went out we bumped into her and he started having a whole convo with her and basically forgot I was there and then they exchanged numbers and everything" she explained she was worried that she was sounding delusional

"Look I'm not gon lie to you Melanie and Ddot got mad chemistry they go wayyy back" dd explained "just be careful because she's low-key a treesh and will try take ddot regardless of you" notti explained, Vinnie nodded at their words

"But I trust my manz and I know he wouldn't do anything" dd nodded also agreeing with nottis words "yea I'll probably talk to him tomorrow"

"Hey Miss Jimenez is darrian here?" She asked after the door was opened by his mother instead of him "um no he's not here he went out with a friend" she explained as she invited Vinnie in "but I was just with notti and dd?" the older woman shook his head "it was a girl he told me she was an old friend" Vinnie nodded slowly

"you can stay here and wait for him to get back, if you want you can help me make dinner" Vinnie smiled "yea I'll help" she said politely

Vinnie and ddots mom cooked together talking and bonding over small things "out of all my sons girlfriends I think your the best" Vinnie looked over to her "really?" She nodded "yea, none of his old girlfriends cut and peeled vegetables for me" they both laughed "no but seriously your a sweet sweet girl and your good for him" Vinnie smiled at her words

The two had just finished cooking and had decided not to wait on Ddot deciding they would just dish two plates for themselves, the two sat and ate laughing and joking about when they heard the front door unlock and open "mami you still home" he called out through the house "we're in here" he followed her voice to where they where "Vinnie? What are you doing here" she gave him a small smile "I came to see you but you weren't here so I helped your mom cook"

"It's alr hunny you go upstairs with darrian I'll clean up" Vinnie gave her a sincere smile as she went upstairs with Ddot

Vinnie layed on his bed while ddot got undressed into more comfortable clothes "how was you day I heard you went out with a friend" he hummed at her words "yea it was chill" he said as he climbed into the bed next to her "who was your friend?" he sighed "you ask a lot of questions y'know that?" She shrugged "well get used to it" he chuckled

"I'm sorry for being mad at you earlier" she apologised resting her head on his chest the two laid in comfortable silence, it soon been filled with Vinnies light snores
