i woke up to the sound of my alarm blaring and reached over to shut it off.
as i went back to lying in bed absentmindedly just starring at the ceiling, i instantly remembered what was supposed to happen later tonight and a smile instantly grew on my face.
that itself gave me enough motivation to get out of the bed and to make my way into the bathroom to start getting ready for the day.

"rise and shine, sleeping beauty!"
audrey says as she's lounging on the couch with her phone in hand and a cup of coffee in her other.
i chuckle and make my way towards her onto the couch as i sit across from her.
"good morning to you too."
i say as i grab a throw blanket and place it over myself.
"mhm, are you ready for tonight?"
she says without second thinking and is grinning at me.
"yes.. i just need to figure out what to wear is all."
