Complete Silence!

The more we try to prevent unwanted things from happening, the more obviously they happen.

Because of my antics, I can't even afford to ask the person next to me for help! Although he is lost in his own world,

Why is everyone so grumpy today?!

Clenching his fists, Rish slowly looked up, eyes filled with rage, "Be careful with your words, Aashna. I'm not saying anything doesn't mean you have the right to talk rubbish about me. And who are you to judge me?"

"Come on, stop the drama! Trust me, Advi, he was living well. It's not like he was grieving over his dead grandparents all the time. He'd definitely be roaming around with--

"Enough Aashna!!" bhai's stern voice burst into the room, flinching us. At that moment my mind was so blank that I could not understand anything.

I turned my face towards my brother, he was fuming! putting his hand on Rish's shoulder, he sat beside him. Bhai Clenched his fists, indicating he was about to say something harsh to… Aashna. Damn! That would end things before they even started.

My Bhai doesn't get Mad easily but, you better not make him angry! My anger is nothing in front of him.

No matter what, I have to do something; "Divit, please help me. I will definitely repay you later," I pleaded looking into his eyes.  Please don't refuse, you are the only hope I have right now... "You promise?" he asked in a whisper, I nodded.

Wiping something off my cheeks, he smiled softly. "Bros.. let it be! She must have been overwhelmed. Don't you know how kids are nowadays, hmm? See, we have an example too, don't we, Advika?" I looked at him in confusion, is he indirectly taunting me?! Raj's loud laugh drew everyone's attention towards him.

"Hey! Don't you dare say anything to Avi!" snapped Rish. However, ignoring Rish's warning, he spoke, "If I say anything, they won't believe it. Boys, I think you can explain it better to them. Will you do us this favor?" The pleasant expression on the faces of all the three disappeared, they looked at each other in horror. They certainly don't want to be part of the drama.

What is he up to?

"Come on, take this as a platform to showcase your learned skills. And yes, don't be afraid. I will make sure you reach home safely," he added calmly while sipping his Americano. I mean, is this dude serious?!

'At least he's trying unlike, someone!' My subconscious threw a sarcasm on my face, which I gladly accepted, it was true though. The thing is, if I speak now, it will create more problems... and I don't want that...

I took the opportunity to see Aashna, Bhai and Rish. She still looked somewhat scared, but plastered a smile on her face. bhai, on the other hand, is less frustrated now. However, Rish is a different case, he was sad, hurt, worried, still desperately trying to put on a stern face. But like me, he can't fake the expressions.

I'm sorry...

"Rishi sir and Aashna are similar," blunted Raj, our faces snapped towards him. both Rish and Aashna death glared at him. Ignoring their heated glares, Ravi decides to continue, "Yeah, that's what we've observed. I mean, you two are protective, possessive, caring and closest to her. And the reason for the fight between you two... It's that you don't want to see her hurt, right?"
