" okay sick!" I say jumping off the examination table
" so she's fine other than the bruise?" Afton reiterates pulling out his phone
"Hey we don't need to call him right away." I say grabbing my phone from his hand
" this is my life you're putting at risk." Afton whines
"you'll be fine! Now I want ice cream!" I say with new found energy

" ice cream sounds pretty good.." He mumbles,
As I pull him out of the room
" wait what!? You can eat normal food!?" I exclaimed in shock
" yeah it just doesn't do anything for me, all it has is the taste." He explains
" then what's up with the Cullens not liking human food?" I question, more to myself than him
" I don't know maybe their all messed up from the animal blood." He laughs

" Who knows! Now I want ice cream!" I say clapping my hands together like Aro does, and then grabbing Afton's hand and pulling him out of the Cullens house once more
" first off please don't ever do that again that was terrifying!!" He comments on my Aro impression
" Second I wanna drive." He says, stopping in his tracks causing me to stop as well.

"No! Now come on!" I say trying to pull him,
After a few minutes of this not working I tried the pushing method.....
No luck
" fine.... But you hurt my baby I'll kill you." I threaten
" did you just call your truck, your baby?" He laughs
" yes I did not come on!" I say throwing him the keys and hopping in the passenger side.

(Volterra, Italy)
(Caius pov)

" We sentence you to 4 years in the dungeon with only animal blood. Felix take him away." I order
As soon as he leaves the room with the accused
I grab the phone from the table and call Afton once more.
"Don't be angry when he doesn't answer again.." Marcus says uninterested

*brrrrrring brrrrrrrring*
"Yello!" I hear Willows voice answers
"What are you doing with Aftons phone?" I question
" making him get me ice cream. Duh!" She jested
And I can practically hear her smiling to herself
"Mmm hmm... well what did Carlisle say about your injury?" I continue
" oh he said it's just a bruise nothing broken.. I just have to keep ice on it, and stretch." She recalls

" is Afton available?" I ask wanting his opinion on how bad it is
"Nope." She says plainly
" and why not." I coaxed
" because he spent the past 12 minutes trying to figure out what ice cream he wants... and he still hasn't decided!" She complained
"Hey! It's not my fault there's so many choices!" I can hear Aftons voice argue...

I have to teach him the proper way to address her...
But I'll deal with that later.
I enter  one of our many meeting rooms inside the castle for more privacy.

"And what did you get then?" I ask, with a pen in my hand to write down the information
No Harm in at least trying..
Because Marcus said the key is, learning her favourite things first..
"Oh? Well I got chocolate chip cookie dough." She tells me
" I'm getting Rocky Road!" Aftons voice calls out

"Finally!! Anyways do you have a favourite ice cream?" She asks me
" never had it actually, I didn't see the use in eating food that I didn't need." I explain to her as I write down her answer
"Never!! Ok if I come to Volterra we are getting gelato!!" She says practically in outrage
"Alright then.." say making A note of that as well
" anyways we're all good here! And I'll send you a letter at some point!! Talk to you later!!" She says but this time waits for an answer

"Arrivede, Amore." (Good bye, love.) I say without thinking,
And before I hang up I hear her giggle lightly
What a lovely melody.

(Forks, Washington.)
(Willow pov)

"Aww, are the love birds finally getting along?" Afton teases
"Shut up!" I groan, as we finally leave the ice cream shop after what felt like hours!
" but in all seriousness... what caused that." He says, gesturing to my side, with one hand and holding his ice cream in the other
"Umm I had sort of a glimpse into the past.. Caius' past to be precise." I say as we find a bench to sit on

" I didn't know you could do that!" Afton marvelled
" well neither did I... but what I saw made me sick to my stomach." I confessed
" what was it?" He asks, worry laced in his tone
"I saw.. It's so hard to explain! I wish I could just show you." I complain
"Just tell me the just of it, it doesn't need to be in heavy detail." He reply's

"I saw Caius.. killing a bunch of werewolves.. it was a bloodbath." I say quietly
"Ooooh, I see. But what did you say? I mean it must've been something bad to cause that couldn't have just happened." He pressed
"I wasn't thinking... when I saw what he had done I called him a-" I begin to admit when I'm cut off

"Hey! Look who it is! Arizona's sister!" I hear the slightly annoying voice of Mike call out
I turn my head to see my head to see the hole group.

"Hey Mike" I say as he approaches the two of us
"Who's this?" He asks pointing at Afton
"This is my friend Afton he's going to be an Exchange student at our school, and he's staying with my family well he's here." I tell him
"Oh cool! Where are you from dude?" Mike asks him

"Italy." Afton says plainly
"Nice! I got to go see you guys at school!" Mike says making his way back to his group
"Alright we'll talk about this at your place." Afton says grabbing the keys and walking to the truck, with me following behind

-Time skip-

"Alright so, tell me what you said." Afton said getting comfortable on my desk chair
"I called him a monster Afton.... How could I do that to someone I don't even know." I admitted
"Hey... that's alright it's the normal response to this sort of thing... I thought that of myself for a while, but then I realized how truly thankful I was." He said softly, placing his cold hand over mine
"Thankful for what?" I ask him

"Well not only did I get another chance at life... I met the love of my life, my mate Chelsa... and I was lucky enough to have Aro allow me into the rank of the guard, even when my gift wasn't needed." He continued
"That's amazing... I'm happy that you found your person Afton." I said
"And you have as well.... You just don't know it yet." He says, smiling softly

I smile back a little more at ease
"Now my lady-" He begins
"Willow." I corrected
"Willow.. I want you to promise me you'll send lord Caius a letter explaining what you saw and that you do feel bad, and not because you did anything wrong! That's not what I'm saying, he's just very aggravated person when he doesn't get a proper explanation." He explains to me

"Are you sure that's a good idea..." I trail off
"Yes Willow I'm sure." He persisted
"Alright I promise." I agree, holding out my pinky finger,
Afton confused for a few seconds but then quickly realizes what I'm doing, and links his finger with mine and shakes our two hands up and down.

"It tis a promise!" He says in a Shakespeare like voice, only then did I hear a light accent in his voice
" do you have an accent?" I say out loud on accident
" it went away overtime but yeah, i'm originally from Scotland so it's this weird Scottish, Italian accent I don't understand it either." He laughs
"That is a pretty weird mix." I giggle
" hey hopefully you don't, but if you ever have the chance to talk to a member of the Romanian coven they sound like Dracula! They are the vampire stereotype!" He jokes leaving my room so I can have some me time

I laugh thinking about how that interaction would go down.

I grab one of my pens and A piece of paper from the box Caius gave me, and I just stare at it
"How do I say I'm sorry..." I mutter to myself

{Hello lovelies I decided to try out something new with the POV's again!! And I'm so so sorry that I haven't been active!! I have been working on another story I'm trying to make! And it's put me a little behind but you should have a couple new chapters in a bit! I promise!
