^^Chapter 3^^

After they ate some well deserved tacos (lol) Molly wanted Scratch to go with her to get some flowers. So they walked to the flower shop to get them.

While they walked there, Molly hummed and skipped along. Scratch was still thinking about that day. Libby liked Molly. More than a friend. I mean, it was kind of obvious these last few weeks. Molly and Scratch opened the door to the cute little flower shop. Molly was walking across the aisle of flowers, while Scratch looked bored.

"Scratch!" Molly exclaimed. Scratch floated towards her. "Look at these yellow roses!" Molly squealed as her hands went up to her face. "Okay okay, let's just get them." Scratch said. Molly looked real happy as they walked out of the flower shop and walked home.

The next day at school, Molly impatiently waited by Libby's locker with the flowers behind her back. When she saw Libby come towards her a big smile appeared on Molly's face.

"Oh, hey Molly." Libby chuckled nervously. "Libby!!" Molly ran up to her, dropped the bouquet of flowers, and hugged her (like the cover of this story). Libby was blushing like crazy, but she noticed the flowers. "Who are those for?" She asked, glancing at the flowers.

"Oh! Their for you Libby." Molly told her pulling away from the hug. She picked up the flowers and handed them to Libby. Libby was still blushing, but now even more. Her whole face turned red.

A few seconds later she said, "Oh Molly you didn't have to. I'm sorry, I think I was a bit dramatic leaving you there at the mall-" "No, no no Libby! I'm sorry. That was our hangout. I should have told Oliver that."

"Anyway," Molly continued, "friends?"

"Yeah." Libby said looking down at the floor. "Friends."

When school was over, Libby went to her locker to grab the flowers (that she put in there so she didn't have to carry them all day) and go home. As she opened her locker and grabbed the flowers, she just stared at them for a second.

She thought about those last few months. Getting ignored by Molly, plus getting replaced by Oliver. The good thing is she apologized, right?

Libby smiled and closed her locker.

When she was outside she saw Molly and Oliver walking off together. Libby was hurt, because she thought they would walk together. Anyways, she was used to this, so she headed home on her own.

Meanwhile with Molly and Oliver, Molly said, "Hey Oliver?" Oliver looked at her and said, "Yeah?" "I need advice." "Sure thing." "You see, Libby seems upset at me right now."

"You mean that weird loser? Who cares what she thinks." There was a long pause between the two as Molly looked horrified. "What did you just say?" Molly said, still in denial that he would say something like that.

"Well, I mean, she has barely any friends and isn't really that special-" Molly was so angry at this point. One, how could someone talk about Libby that way? And two, was that the person she had been hanging out with these last few months?

"I can't believe you." Molly sighed and walked a few steps ahead/in front of him. "I'm walking home alone.

Molly ran down the sidewalk to her house. It was only a block away. Once she was far enough away from Oliver, Scratch appeared.

"Saw the whole thing." Her ghost friend said. "It feels right, but it still hurts Scratch." "That's okay. Emotions are Emotions, we can't control them, no matter how or what we want them to be."

"Thanks Scratch."

"No prob."
