Libby was having so much fun.
Molly had gotten boba for both of them and also bought Libby a necklace. They were heading their way to ice cream so Libby could return the favor (by paying lol).
"Sooo, Libby!" Molly turned to her great friend. "Yeah?" Libby responded. "What flavor of ice cream are you getting?"
"Maybe mint chocolate chip, or just mint." She told Molly with a smile. "Well I dunno what I'm gonna get. I like all of them!" Molly spun around while still walking. Libby chuckled and blushed, but just a tiny bit.
"Oh, there's the ice cream." Molly said pointing to a cute looking ice cream place. "Let's go!" She exclaimed as she grabbed Libby's hand. Libby's whole face turned red. She hoped Molly didn't notice.
They made their way into the ice cream place, and Molly told Libby to sit down at one of the tables. Libby gave her the money and sat down at a random table. She waited for Molly to order. Five minutes later she was back with mint chocolate chip and cotton candy ice cream.
As she laughed and ate ice cream for a few minutes, Libby realized that she was the happiest she had been in weeks, and she loved the feeling.
Suddenly, Molly's phone rang. She picked it up and answered the call. "Oliver!" She exclaimed gleefully.
Libby's smile immediately dropped into a frown.
She waited for Molly to get off the phone, but she just kept talking and talking. About 10 minutes later, Libby got up. Molly didn't even look at her. So Libby left the mall and called her mom to pick her up.

Once Libby had been gone for like, 5 minutes, Molly got off the phone and sighed. "Libby, isn't he just-" She wasn't there. "Libby?" Molly asked. 'Did she leave?' Molly thought to herself. She looked at her phone and realized she had been on her phone calling him for a while.
Once Molly was home, she told Scratch what happened. "You did what?" Scratch exclaimed. "I know, I know. But Oliver's so... you know! If Libby got to know him she would feel the same way I do towards him-" "She's a lesbian Molly." Scratch interrupted her. "What?! She never told me that? Why did she tell you??"
"I found out because of a lesbian flag in her room, but that's not the point. That was supposed to be you and Libby hanging out and you called SmhOliver or whatever his name is for so long that she left?" Scratch scoffed. "She's been feeling left out between you three these pasts months."
"Did I really hurt her that much?"
"I mean, I'm no expert but I think you should talk to her."
"I will, okay?!" Molly snapped back. "But how?" She asked herself. "I don't know? Like I said, I'm not an expert. Now let's go eat some food."
Molly groaned as she reluctantly followed her ghost best friend downstairs. As she thought about it, she had been really selfish not hanging out with Libby and especially being on that call with Oliver during their hangout. She decided to get her some flowers, yellow ones (friendship) of course.
