'"Before you,
I was nothing but a wandering traveler
And you ended up being my refuge
There never was any point of my futile attempt
To run away from your loving deluge."'
------
Scar walked atop the mountain he called home.
He was lured to this place by its strong magical fields and tall trees that reach the clouds.
Leaves stirred with life, branches shinning from the sun, grass filled with flowers. Scar loved every inch of his mountain, even the deep decrepit caves that have jewels and riches that cover the jagged walls of the calm quiet.
Scar was a traveler but the mountain was his home. Soon Scar would leave on another adventure.
------
"Well, I should be off! See you later Jellie!" Scar called from outside to his cat, Jellie, who was laying on a fence.
------
Scar crept down the massive mountain, his steps barely making sound.
Each tree shimmered with life as he passed by, grass seemed to get brighter when he continued his descent of the mountain.
He was graceful in his movements yet he nearly fell down a dozen times in a minute or three, yet it looked intentional if anyone would have been watching.
------
Scar started to journey across the bottom of the mountain into the plain trees in the fields, stopping every 15 to 20 minutes to look around. He loved the scenery of the forest, it always had a calming effect on him.
To him the walk was short, like his attention span. Scar walked all over the forest plains, searching for something to peak his interest.
------
After 5 hours of walking around he came upon a pathway, it seemed new and barely used. But he never walked that way, and there was no way he could have made the path, so somebody or a few creatures must have moved in nearby his Mountain, his Magic Mountain.
Scar decided to go say hello. But first he'd have to search out the place before he lets anybody know he was there. And if anybody comes too close to the mountain? Well, he would just take them out and put them next to a tree, leaned up, so it looked like they fell asleep against it.
------
Scar was looking around for the creatures when he got a scare when he heard someone's laughter, he staggered backwards, nearly falling. Scar grabs a branch covered in vines to keep his balance.
He peered out from behind the tree covered in brambles to see three people: A woman with green skin and ginger hair (Cleo), a male with sandy blonde hair and a red sweater (Grian), and someone with a mustache with black hair and a matching suit (Mumbo).
Scar watched as the three interacted. They seemed to be having... Fun? The one in the suit had hit the blonde and the ginger would laugh.
The blonde had... Feathers? Scar was intrigued by it. Scar's instincts inclined him to walk closer, but he pulls himself back behind the tree. He shouldn't reveal himself just yet.
He took a deep breath as he decided it would be best to walk past them and try and see more into the area they have settled into, and how much they've changed it from the plain Wheatfields that once stood in the area they set their camp.
