Special Containment Procedures: SCP-096 is to be kept in an airtight steel cube, which is to be checked for cracks weekly. No video surveillance or any other optical tools are to be allowed near the containment chamber.

Description: SCP-096 is a really tall humanoid entity. Its arms are much longer then they should be, and its skin is almost completely devoid of any pigmentation or body hair. Its jaw can open up to four times the norm of an average human, and its eyes are also devoid of pigmentation.

SCP-096 is normally extremely docile, spending most of its day pacing by the wall of its containment unit. However, whenever anybody looks at SCP-096's face, either directly, via video surveillance, or even a photograph, it will enter an enraged state, crying and babbling incoherently into its hands. After a few minutes of this, it will begin to run towards the person who viewed it, who will now be referred to as SCP-096-1. NOTE: this reaction does not occur when viewing artistic depictions.

SCP-096 can run extremely fast when sprinting towards its target. At this time, no known materials or methods can be used to halt SCP-096's project. Upon reaching SCP-096-1's location, SCP-096 will kill and [DATA EXPUNGED] the target, leaving no trace of their corpse. It will then sit down for several minutes to regain its composure before becoming docile once again.

Due to the possibility of a mass chain reaction, including breach of Foundation secrecy and mass civilian loss of life, retrieval of subject is to be considered alpha priority.

NOTE: At least one researcher has petitioned for immediate termination of SCP-096. Order is awaiting approval. Termination order has been approved, and is to be carried out by [REDACTED] on [REDACTED]
