6:14PM MESSAGE FROM "UNKNOWN"
UNKNOWN You think you're safe. But you're not. I can see you.
Willow Seriously whatever the fuck you want Stop it. I'm calling the police.
UNKNOWN Do that and YOU and EVERYONE you know are dead.
Willow's hand tightened on the phone, staring the message in fear. She'd blocked the number multiple times but they kept texting from different numbers.
She didn't know who this person was or how they got her number — or why they hadn't given it out to the public — but she was beginning to get scared.
It wasn't the first time she'd received death threats, they came with the acting territory. Someone didn't like her character dating Norman's in the Walking Dead and they'd sent her an Instagram DM everyday for a week, detailing her painful death by their hands.
She'd had them arrested a few days later.
But this was different. It didn't describe anything in detail. The anonymity startled her the most, even more than the vagueness of it all.
They hadn't explicitly stated anything she'd done wrong, and that led her to believe it could be a stalker situation.
"Willow?"
Willow jumped, phone slipping from her hands, a wide-eyed look on her face. Pedro caught her phone easily, gripping it in his leather gloves.
"Willow, hey, woah, what's up?" He asked her worriedly, handing her phone back and resting a hand on her upper arm.
She couldn't feel his skin, she hated that she couldn't feel his warm hand, but instead the gloved hands of his costume.
"N-nothing, I'm fine," she smiled tightly, dropping her phone in the collective bin the actors put theirs in. "Ready?"
His thumb stroked her gently, trying to catch her eye but she avoided looking at him.
"Willow," he said gentler this time, quietly, just for her. "Talk to me."
"I'm fine, Pedro," she snapped, eyes meeting his and narrowing. Talk to him? She would love to. She'd love to tell him about a potential stalker and have him wrap her in his arms and go to the police with her.
Realistically, he couldn't protect her. Not like Frankie, though he wasn't that dangerous either. He was an actor, a cool, collected, actor. And Frankie was gaining age, it was catching up to him. His knees popped when he sat down and his ankles rolled easily. He couldn't throw punches like he could ten years ago.
The two people she trusted most — both would be in danger if she told. She couldn't tell them. She couldn't go to the police — what if the stalker was following her? Were they working on set? — and she couldn't deal tell anyone she loved.
She was alone.
"Willow," his grip tightened, tilting her head to look at him. People were staring at them now, the first display of affection — the first real conversation on set aside from lines — and he didn't seem to care in the slightest. His eyes scanned her face in mild hurt and confusion. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing." She said flatly. "I'm fine."
He let out a deep sigh through his nose, lips tightening under his considerable nose. He pulled away from her, turning back to the set and walking through the double doors where the 4D set awaited.
She followed a moment later.
