Chapt 2: She's gone

Safira's tears fell down her cheeks dropping and soaking lea's shirt, she wipes away the tears seeing 10 marks on Lea's arms. Safira squints then ghasps

Vampires.

"How could this happen? Was it that Heeseung dude and his stupid gang?"
She whispers examing the holes even more, she then stands up to look in the mirror. Safira looks at the two holes on her neck seeing them alot smaller than the ones on Lea's arm

What...?

She looks at herself then to her sister questioning whether this was just a coincidence or something

"....saf?"

Safira's head turns to her sister as fast as lightning and crouches down beside her

"Im listening, dont worry lea im here! I'll go call for help. i just need to get my phone"

"No."

"What? What the hell do you mean 'no'? Some blood sucking creatures literally took half of your blood!"

"Its okay, I knew this was going to happen anyway."

"What?! You knew this was gonna happend and didn't  bother to tell me?!"

"Calm down, Sahai. I think now is the right time to tell you this..."

"Tell me what?? What do you wanna tell me?"

"Safira....your adopted"

Safira made a face when she said that, she then started giggling

"Wh...whats so funny? Being adopted isn't a laughing matter, saf"

"HAHAA~ i know im adopted, ive known eversince my biological mother gave me up!"

"Safira...your mother didn't give you up."

"Huh?"

Safira's face turned serious and looked directly into her older sister eyes eager to find out why her mother actually gave her to the Heuning's family

"She gave you to us in order to protect you, you see... your mother wasn't just a human being she..was.."

Safira could see Lea's eye lids starting to get heavy, she lighlty slapped lea's cheeks trying to keep her awake.

"Lea? Stay with me please! My mom was a what? I need answers lea!"
She shouted

"She was...lady of......"

Safira's eyes filled with tears as lea takes her last breath, she could feel lea's shoulders soften and her face resting meaning only one thing...
Safira's tears turn into a sob while she hugs her lifeless sister.
