"My husband was Toruk Makto." You saw Mr. Sully wince at the mention of the name and Neteyam looked to the ground with his head pointed to the ground. "He lead the clans to victory against the sky people." Mrs. Sully had her head held high as she spoke of her mate's past. You didn't know why she decided to bring this up but she shared a glace with the Olo'eyktan. "This you call victory? Hiding, amongst strangers?" Mrs. Sully's pride left her for a moment. "It seems Eywa has turned her back on you." You had found Ronal pretty before but now she left a sour taste in your mouth, you knew she was only doing this to protect her people. "Chosen one." Mrs. Sully hissed at Ronal and she gave one right back. The tension in the air was already thick but now it was starting to make you sweat. "I apologize for my mate. She's-" You knew she wouldn't like that, any prideful woman wouldn't. "Do not apologize-" He didn't listen to her as he kept going. "Flown a long way and she's exhausted." "Jake." She was irritated at him. He gave her a long look before she turned away saying nothing. The air was now tense and awkward, you started to fiddle with your hair, brushing your hands through it the best you could with it now being in a tangled mess from the wind. "Toruk Makto is a great war leader. All Na'vi people know his stories, but we Metkayina are not at war." Your hands started to get tangled up in your hair as you tried to untangle it. Quickly you gave up as you didn't want to look rude or odd in front of the Metkayina people. "We cannot let you bring your war here."
"I'm done with war." Mr. Sully had a hold of Tuk's arm as she held his. "Okay? I just want to keep my family safe." His voice sounded desperate this time. Your shoulders started to feel heavy from the tension and stress and the two leaders looked at each other. "Uturu has been asked." Looking over to Mrs. Sully again she had her hand over her shoulder holding Kiri's. Your eyes then wandered to Neteyam again catching his gaze as well. "Do we have to go?" Tuk's meek voice could be heard as Mr. Sully tried comforting her. "Shh, it will be okay." He spoke softly as well. You broke your gaze from Neteyam to look over to Ronal and the Olo'eyktan. You still didn't know what their answer would be but when you saw Ronal's head bow a bit and your lungs finally breathed in with hope filling them.
"Toruk Makto and his family will stay with us." There was a wave of relief among the family, you had wished Mr. Sully had told them you weren't family but you decided to keep quiet for now. "Treat them as our brothers and sisters." You felt your shoulders slump and all the tension release. "But they do not know the sea, so they will be like babies taking their first breath." You looked up and made eye contact with Ronal, it was only for a second but your gaze quickly shot away as she was eyeing you. "Teach them our ways so that they do not suffer the shame of being useless." The Olo'eyktan finished his statement looking Mr. Sully dead in the eyes. Mr. Sully gave out a small breath of relief, "What do we say?" Tuk was the first one to say "thank you." You expressed your gratitude as well but you could hear the Sullys kids seemed less eager about it. "My son Ao'nung our daughter Tsireya will show your children what to do." The male Ao'nung was the one you had seen earlier with the other boy making fun of Neteyam's tail, and it didn't seem like he was happy to teach you guys anything. "Father why-" "It has been decided." His father quickly cut him off and to make things run smoothly the girl, Tsireya came forward. "Come, I will show you our village."
With the Sully families items in hand, you followed behind Kiri and in front of Lo'ak. It wasn't much and the walkway was nice, you quite enjoyed the bounce added to your step. Kiri still didn't seem too pleased about having to leave her home, you tried giving her your hand again but she ignored it. You figured she just needed time. You noticed Tuk in the front right behind Mr. Sully was also having a fun time with the walkway as she started to jump instead of walking. "Ner, ner, ner, ner." Giggling as you watched her you saw Tsireya finally go into one of the large huts. "This is for you. Your new home." It was beautiful to you, the blue in the doorway mesmerized you as the whole family started to enter. "Yeah, this will work. This is great, it's nice right?" You were so caught up in the doorway that when Mrs. Sully dropped her mat onto the ground you were slightly spooked. There was a large sigh followed by dropping the carpet as Mrs. Sully also didn't seem too happy about staying.
