"I was thinking about tomorrow and I know you're already stressed about it so I though I'd take one thing off your plate" She says excitedly, moms got the most expressive face and the most emotional voice, watching her talk about things that make her happy is one of the most beautiful things a person could ever witness

"It's perfect mom, thank you" I say wrapping my arms around her shoulders

"Always peach, now I got a lot of work ahead of me so I'll see you later alright?" She says giving my shoulders a squeeze

"If you need any help call me" I say placing the top and skirt onto my desk, I turn around to go to bed but accidentally knock a box over. Dozens of books lie scattered across the floor, I quickly reach to pick them all up but stop as I look each one over, my dad sends me a book every two weeks, signs them in the front and annotats each one before sending them to me. I slowly stand back up and lock the door with shaky hands. I reach into the side of one of my bags and pull out the blue razor, the same razor I've used for ever single one in the past, you could say I'm sentimental like that

You'd think after being the new kid 6 times you'd get use to it, you don't. New faces and names and classes and halls, it's all frustrating and overbearing. I would give anything to have worn pants today, any type of pants as long as there's pockets to hide my shaky hands

I close my locker as the bell ringing taking a breath to somewhat prepare myself for my next lesson

"Jesus christ" I all but scream, when I notice a brunnette boy leaning against the locker next to me, the same brunnette who was watching me last night

"You're new right?" He asks casually,

"Just moved in across the street?" My brows scrunch slightly but I dismiss his question when I notice his shirt

"Shouldn't you come with braids and an amputated hand"

"Never heard of the band Wednesday?" He asks playing with a pen while he continues to lean on lockers

"Nope" I respond

"Well neither have I, hey I met your mom last night" his small smirk tells me she did something that could potentially bite me in the ass

"Yes well she can be very friendly" i state cautiously

"She asked me for weed, wasn't that friendly" he responds bluntly, I let out a sigh of relief knowing it wasn't anything too drastic

"Well charged her next time" I state

"Next time? Theres ganna be a next time?" His eyes widen slightly

"Yup"  i say giving him a small smile

"I'm marcus by the way" he introduces

"The stalker from last night?" The confident expression doesn't change from his face but his cheeks redden slightly

"Well from my point of veiw" he starts scratching his chin slightly

"Mmhhm" I nod crossing my arms over my chest

"I saw someone on a roof and I was doing my neighborly duty in being a witness incase disaster struck" I shake my head slightly when he looks all to impressed with his explanation

"I'm Charlie" I introduce

"Tell me Wednesday, are there any good coffee spots around here?" I ask

"Yeah there's a great one, I can take you after school if you want " he starts

"That would be amazing!" I say, he gives me a small smile and nods before turning to leave

"I'll see you later charlie" with that the stalker neighbor disappears into the crowded hallway
